Although they dont harmonize that well, I cant help but end the sentence with "yet". Their dancing styles match too well, and there are always some moments of understanding and beauty that I dont see when they are dancing with other partners.

It is really amazing how he interprets the music, but I often wonder whether the girls have fun dancing with him. It seems like a constant struggle. They may be smiling on the outside, but it could be just to hide their embarrassment. His moves seem so complicated that even he would find it difficult to follow if he was to dance with himself. Don't get me wrong, just my two cents. No hard feelings.

Not really for all ! Having watched a more than a dozen. but he does have his standards / I wonder whether he is bored of dancing socially / just by looking at facial expressions

I watched him dancing a month ago. In my opinion, It's a matter of the song. If he loves the song, his attitude is completely different, but when the song is just normal for him, then he shows tired and bored. I think that is something that happens to everybody, but in his case is more noticeable because of his dancing level.
Anyway, both Magna and Terry are my favourite dancers by far.

Heh, he's actually one of my favourite artistes to dance with. He leads a lot of moves that involve deviating from standard footwork and timing, so you cannot autopilot ANYTHING, but as long as you keep a decent frame and connection, and are constantly ready to move whenever and wherever he leads, he's actually pretty easy to follow. Being constantly aware of the music also helps, because you know he's going to hit the accents, so if you know something's coming up in the music, you can prepare yourself for SOMETHING to happen.
My one issue is that his lead is very strong and can occasionally border on rough, and my control and balance was never the best to begin with, so sometimes I go flying =P
Otherwise though, his musicality makes the dance super fun. Challenging, but fun.

That is an interesting point of view. Thanks for sharing. I've never danced with him, so I don't know what it feels like. Having watched a few videos of different ladies dancing with him, it just seems to be difficult. It got me thinking...
