    Hands down the best and most concise tips for taking LinkedIn to the next level. I plan on trying all of the strategies and tracking the performance against what I've done previously. My content tends to be informative, helping users do their "homework" without asking them for anything - including, unfortunately any CTA. Thanks Ryan!

    Key points...
    1.Learn how to write good copy.
    2.Nobody is going to buy from you if they don't know who you are. (If you are a good a communicator this can be done is a short amount of time.)
    3.Writing engaging content creates an opportunity from the user to get to know you. (Controversy, Emotional Connection, Data Driven Value, Tactics, Personal Stories of solving a problem. etc)
    4. Once you have connected with the user through the content that encouraged them to engage with you, they are more likely to consider your offer when you present it to them.

    Can someone elaborate on what is said at 9:42 about linkedin 'killing engagement' if you put a link in the body of a post? I have never heard that before and would like to understand that better as I frequently do this. Excellent video by the way.

      all of these social platforms want to keep traffic and engagement within the platform. when you post a link, you drive attention away from the platform. facebook did the same thing years ago, look it up you will find more info on it.

      No, not true anymore. Does not matter as reported from many users around May 2020. Dwell time before leaving is what matters to get more exposure. Now linkedin on mobile makes it simple to get back to linkedin after closing the external content (browser) so they are probably not so worried that you don't find your way back.

    Hi Ryan, thank you for a content-packed knowledge about LinkedIn.
    I have some questions here
    1) Do personal account in LinkedIn potentially get more reach than a Company Page?
    2) How to drive people to follow a Company Page and create more engagement on the Page?
    3) Does sharing content from a Page to Personal work in LinkedIn help to extend the reach? It doesn't seem to work for me.

    Excellent video! I found a few other videos on LinkedIn and they all covered the same material but this one gave some terrific insight into how to leverage the platform effectively! Thanks! I do have one question. This video was posted in August 2019 and you discussed some of the features (the algorithm) being time sensitive in that LinkedIn might change their algorithms soon. As of July 2020, does the information in this video still apply or have they changed have their engagements and velocity are processed?

    Thanks for all of these cool tips, but one question - it seems to me like these tips are mostly for the use of Linkedin for individuals.
    But what about if we have a brand, how brands suppose to communicate on this platform? Does these all tips can be applicable on brand communication strategy over the Linkedin, or it is completely different story?

    Hey, Ryan great video. Quick question. What do you recommend for people who use LinkedIn for work/school and can’t really go ahead and transform their entire profile to suit a side business they are trying to start? Like for example I am a student and work at an equity firm and my Linkedin profile reflects that. But I want to grow my side business on Linkedin which is nightclub event marketing in which we currently have very few clients. We spent about $90,000 worth of fb ads last year on behalf of our clients and made great profit. BUT I can’t at the moment publicly attach my name to my side business and start using my profile to facilitate lead gen through blasting content on the platform. I was thinking about making a pseudo employee profile and using that profile to push content and start this whole process, what do you think?

      na, i think your job should let you be who you are. if they dont support that, than you should not be working there. be yourself, do what makes you happy. you should never have to mask or hide that from anyone

      Doesn't matter anymore. As of may 2020 it is reported by several users that it gets the same exposure with or without external links in the post itself. Google it for more info
