Mr Burns does not glow in the dark. UV light activated plastic changes colour in the daylight. Like the Super7 Toxie that turns red. When Vampire Burns is exposed to light, his face will "burn".
Also, Homer comes with the breakaway garden fence.

@@thrillhouse1560 Yea after looking over the toys a few time it looks like there is a piece that will go at the bottom of vampire burns and make him raise out of the coffin.

that'll be cool to get a dracula burns, every version of him currently released is pretty expensive.
1) I like that the packaging resembles the original Mattel line from the early 90s
2) the price is really decent at $12.99
3) I already like them much better than the playmates line.
You bring up interesting points, new to collect Simpson figures, why do you think Super 7 struggled? I mean I love the overall size and accessories, but the QC issues hurt them, the price seemed high , maybe $35 per figure seemed like a manageable price from a consumer view point ( of course I don’t know the behind the scene costs of IP fees etc)
Super7 was target towards mainly collectors, where JAKKS is for everyone. Also, almost all of the SUPER7 items were on preorder for almost 2 years, and with these JAKKS they are just already on shelves with little to no wait.

Charging $55 a piece for each character & if they manage to release wave 5 I think we would’ve been paying a quarter of $1,000 just to complete the set. Idk what hill super7 is laying on but that company needs a whole revamp
A couple thoughts I had:
1) Why is Radioactive Man wearing a watch? I don’t recall that on any version of him in the show, whether it’s his comic version or Rainier Wolfcastle or Dirk Richter 😅
2) The Angry Homer figure is interesting, ‘cuz the early prototype pictures showed him with fully green skin. I assume they changed it to avoid any issues with Marvel, but honestly I kinda like the look of the final figure more!

I’m really debating if I wanna do the 2.5 inch line or the 5 inch line, cuz I don’t wanna do both. I guess the 2.5 is where the play sets are going to be so that’s cool, but I feel like the 5 is gonna have the better figures, and they look a lot more fun too
Yea a definitely a toss up. A mixture of both wont hurt because some of the 5" figures won't have a smaller variant.
i know with the jakks pacific, they some how can release new waves every like month and a half (at least that was it’s been for the sonic line)
I imagine that those other 4 figures are the wave 2

That is very good points on what Super 7 , I was not around for that long wait, I am collecting and mostly getting figures but I have to look for several different stores in America and abroad ( mostly from Canada)

Exciting news, especially after super 7 dropped the ball (plus $55 each 🤦🏻 “Dooohh…”). I just was hoping for the standard cast. But these look amazing, fun and affordable. I definitely want the green Homer for my tmnt sewer lair. Pretend it’s ooze! 😜 burns will be a fun one during Halloween

I can’t wait for larger sized figures coming down the line, I want the JAKKS Pacific Simpsons line to be successful ….do you think the fact that JP is connected to a big retailer like TARGET is gonna help them get that needed exposure to customers? I am surprised there wasn’t a bigger push from TARGET with promotional material, the figures when they were in toy aisles seemed haphazardly tucked between larger brands like Star Wars and MARVEL hero figures
I think the push is still to come. Jakks is huge in Walmart and other stores as well and so far we have only seen them in Target and Gamestop. I think that once they are in a few of the other retail stores they will start to explode more in popularity. I don't think it will explode as much as marvel but to be honest with all of you and the Simpson community backing it, it will deff give Marvel a small run for their money.
Wait a minute. Did you say Kidrobot is doing Simpsons again? I'm glad Super7 is not doing Simpsons anymore, they were way too much money. These are super fun.

I didn’t want the smaller Simpson figures as I was hunting for Krusty but then I saw a little Chief Wiggums and Ned Flanders and I had to get all of them…then a thought hit me, Jakks Pacific is gonna make a Simpson’s car too…cause these little figures seem like they can sit down…so do you think it might be down the pipeline?!? I really hope I am right cause I would so buy the car
They're on UK amazon too, for £28-29 so I'd guess they're gonna be closer to $25
Yep UK always gets screwed over on price. £30 seems pricey but i guess if they have a battery or motion feature it maybe justifies the increase cost. I highly doubt in the UK we will get the standard Simpsons 5" figures at £12 like the US, i suspect more £22-25 for us.

The next wave of 4 are listed as coming in 3-4 months - so another extrapolation would be that (from the timings) there would be 4 waves of 4 characters (and 3 of these Uber-figures with a 'special feature' and higher price) per year. Which is a decent rate that would produce 16 characters a year, if they don't start adding in variants (unless they are Uber-figures, like the Angry Homer is).
Yea for sure. We are gonna have like 30+ different ones by the end of the year it looks like and im ok with it lol

That Radioactive Man is so much worse than the Super7 figure.
yea its just hard to compare a $25 toy with a background accessory versus a $70 Super7 toy. The larger Super7 toys are probably some of most favorite items but for the price it just wasnt affordable for a majority of the population. Even they could afford it, they chose not to due to the higher price and wait time (2 years)
