Tin Man, we were there in Namiri Plains in March 2022. We saw the Semetu pride near that exact same waterhole (Viya Gol area in the Vindimbwini Swamp) between the
Gol and Semetu kopjes. At the time (15months ago) they had 9 big subadults in the pride (fathers were Snyggve and Tryggve) and a lot of young males. Were these 7 boys part of that pride?

Thanks Lisa for the great info. Awesome you can immediately tell it’s Namiri plains :) oh wow 9 sub adults! I may have to ask my guide Dulla because he said he only saw them one summer ago and they killed a lot of cubs of Bob Junior’s pride and eventually killed him too.

Nikon Z9 held up well in the rain, but check out my new video where it failed. ruclips.net/video/RCQxgV0CT04/видео.html
Sony and Canon in my experience weren't as tough as the Nikon Z9 for rain.

    Jambo Tin Man.
We're very happy to hear that you have visited our beautiful country, Tanzania. I hope you get the most out of it. Thank you for the video about Seven Brothers, we are still sorry for the death of Bob Jr.
We also follow your article series, they are amazing. And we will be very happy to reply from there, especial to know the challenges you have faced while putting your effort to take the best photograph possible on safari in Tanzania.
We may have a solution and may invite you back to Tanzania.
    Asante sana

Magnificent footage and photos Tin Man. I have never seen it rain on the Serengeti before but these lions looked like some unhappy campers lol. Guess it looks good on these bullies of the Serengeti. Absolutely beautiful animals and I agree with what you say about them. They are very important for our ecosystem to survive. Hopefully we loose no more of them and can one day see the population of these magnificent animals and others rise. Keep up the fantastic work you and others are doing. Stay Safe

HI Tin Man, great video capture of the seven brothers! I love your narrative too! Definitely a very unique experience. Can't wait to go back to the Serengeti to see them again. I saw them separately in early March, but did not get the chance to see them hanging out together in one location.
