His acting art is very sensitive and unique, like the choice of the films and their subjects, genre, texts and fellow actors. Mr. Firth is a virtuoso in his field.
I have yet to hear Tom Ford or Colin Firth utter a word of praise for Matthew Goode's performance in this movie, and I've searched a lot! For me, his portrayal of Jim brings us the beating heart of this film, the love of George's life, the reason all the color is gone from George's life.
This movie is a rare GEM! Tom Ford is a magician. Colin Firth sparkles!
I wish A Single Man was widely distributed in the US. Its mature handling of homosexuality is desparately needed here. The right way to depict homosexuals is to emphasize their humanity and not focus on sexuality, rather take it for granted.

Unfortunately I forgot many words in French language...I`ve learned this language in my school...After school during my study I chose English-more international:-)

There is no English version, unfortunately. There are many great French interviews, almost all of them with French dubbing. Made for the French public only...
Sad to learn - have seen this interviewer with Colin & Taron Edgerton and it was in English, but great news for the French public - might have to learn French!

Since the title, the description AND the interview are in English, maybe you could lose the annoying French dubbing?

Colin The Firth well then aren't there subtitles for this video? I mean I really love the work that you do and the effort that you put in searching and uploading such gems of videos, but I really, really wish to understand what they are saying. And the title and description made this video all the more a 'must see' one. So please, please can you look for subtitles of this one??

they should not dub this interview, english is more easy to understand, that language used to dub in this video is not a universal language
