I'd go for 4 cars at $10-15k. They turn over much more quickly and combined, they bring in more profit than 1 expensive car. Plus you/we get more content that way.
I love the drastic makeovers on the middle price range “fun” cars mixed with cheap ones you’ve done. It has been cool once in a while mixing it up with the exotics though I have to admit.
If he had stuck with the low to middle range cars he'd own his ferrari by now. He doesn't make that much on $25K+ cars usually. He doubles his money usually on the low end cars.
Cheap cars are more fun to watch as they represent something us viewers could be doing. There are enough channels concentrating on exotic expensive cars than regular everyday vehicles which interest me more.
He started with $400... he got to this point with that $400. It goes to show that with time and effort you can make it to the point where you could also buy/sell higher end cars to make profits. He does say though that the more expensive the car, profits usually are lower.
@@startingtech3900 not just cheap enough to make a profit, but its like you honestly cannot trust anyone in this business (really any business). You have to take into consideration that every vehicle has some potentially major hidden, only after you own it will it be discovered.
That you've taken your time & energy to take us inside your operations, just blows me away. Such a guru & role model you are. Thank you most good and kind sir!
Grand job Craig! 1. Poundland is sort of like your Dollar Store in the US. Don't really have anything like that here in Switzerland, as such. Of course there are cheaper stores in Germany I guess. Don't worry about not seeing Aston Martins in England, unless you visit Mayfair, Knightsbridge in London. Here in Switzerland in my town there is at least a Maserati GT, and a Lamborghini Hurracan in the underground garages in the next apartment building. There's a Ferrari dealer and a Bentley dealer within 3 miles of our apartment building.
Take German with you to the auction. He has $17,500 and has to buy 2 cars. You take $17,500 and buy one flip car. That leaves you $20,000 for a non flip car for the lot. Leaving $5,000 for any repairs the flip cars may need. Can German sell his 2 cars quicker for more profit than your 1 car? Should be good content!
I like this idea, 1-2 cheap gambles, a safe bet, and a long shot. Would be a good comparison. We can place our own bets (hypothetically) and wait to see the outcome.
What are you talking about, $20k for a non-flip car for the lot? That money is all specifically from the $400 to a Ferrari series. Using it for something else completely defeats the purpose.
Craig i would buy three cars, one nice car for 25k, one regular daily for 15k and a project for 10k! U would as usuall win 2-3 thousand per car and that would be 65-70k budget at the end when they sell. Love ur content! Much respect from Germany!!
Selling 10 cars and making $1000 each is a lot more fun (and more content) than 1 high end car that you make $10k on…sure it’s more labor costs etc, but 10 videos vs. 1 makes you more money too! Keep on rockin’!
The other problem with the $40,000 car is it ties up a lot of capital, in this case for a few months. Better off with ten $4,000 cars, or even twenty $2,000 cars. You will probably double your money on those cars, so $40,000 in profit instead of $1450. And your money is always moving in/moving out. You probably won't have more than about $10,000 tied up.
I have a 2022 countryman with those tail lights and I noticed the other day when you turn your Right Blinker on the half flag arrow in middle on lamp blinks towards the left and vice versa 🤣🤣 you should do a video on them or ask Why...😁 keep the videos coming...
I feel your pain Craig. I sell cars in Upstate NY. Someone came to “buy” a car from me with a fraudulent Bank of America cashiers check last October. Took 4 days for me to realize it was fake when the funds to bounced out of my account. Took 4 months to get the car back with the help of law enforcement. And she finally was arrested for the crime 2 days ago.. crazy. So now I only accept cash or won’t release the vehicle til the funds are cleared.
Thats bold. They showed up in person and gave you a bad cashiers check. 🤣 I have heard of it happening, but thought it was pretty far fetched. I guess criminals just don't care anymore.
It first happened in Houston 20 years ago that I know of. It was a well set up scam. Multiple phone conversations with the Rolls dealer led up to a Saturday sell and same day loading on a ship to Hong Kong with new Roller that sailed Sunday. It was several days before the check bounced as did the car onvthevhigh seas.
It really doesn’t take that long at all but for the average person it’s very scary trying to invest any amount of money into anything so yeah. once you build it up like that though the money was never yours anyway so it doesn’t hurt as much to invest it haha
My personal thought would be to stop with the cars that don't sell quickly and for low profit. Just not worth the time and labor that your putting into it. Keep the goal of the series in mind. I would buy and flip vehicles that have a good turnover and wanted by your average buyer from week to week. Things like Toyota cars, suv's and trucks, Honda cars and suv's, Ford trucks and others that are popular in your local area.
I would buy a few cheap cars. It's more interesting to see those transformations. You get to see German work is magic. Thanks for the videos, love watching them from New Brunswick, Canada.
You should look into setting up a dedicated wire in wire out account. No idea how but my father had a some of his retirement money randomly wired out of his checking account. Never figured out how it happened or where it went. The good news is we got it all back. That means they can reverse or pull wires back….
In my opinion, see what the auction has to offer. If you see 4 or 5 cars that you could easily flip for good money do that (In your case, you have to take in the entertainment aspect as well). $55,000 is a lot of money now. You could probably split it into both categories. 1 exotic special fun to drive car for a while and a couple cheaper easy to flip cars.
