    Building in Pax Dei is based on structural supports. Your beams have to connect to a green object. Floors attached to green foundations beams attached to green foundations or green floors. The end of one beam needs to attach to the top of a beam by looking at the lower beams end, and it will turn green when you stack the other beam or pole atop it. The reason your awning tiles were able to hang is because you put it between three sides of awning and roof that was supported however that’s all that supported that one awning piece. The same with your ceiling piece were one you attached to a supported angled roofies, but the one next to it since you looked at it from below, you didn’t look at the piece it was too attached to to turn it green, thus, why it wouldn’t hang. Just remember look at the supported piece that you want to attach your new piece too and make sure it’s green meaning that piece is also supported..

      This is a great explanation! I was coming at it from Space Engineers building mechanics, which is incorrect on many levels! 😂
      This is really helpful, thank you!

    Also. The reason why one floor tile went up but not the other is because the posts on that side have crossmembers making it more structurally rigid. It has better structural integrity.
    Still though. Run posts or stone pillars on the first floor that connect to the second floor posts through the first floor ceiling.

    all posts must be connect with a ground! so , put 4 post in a ground level. then you will have descent stability for the roof.

      Thank you! I'm happy to report that in my next video you'll see that I fixed my supports!

    27:15 - Your posts on the second floor need support under them all the way through to the foundation on the first floor. Posts need to go up from the foundation to the posts on the second floor.

      Oh goodness, this totally makes sense! I feel daft for not realizing that's what was going on and what I needed to do. Thank you!

      @@nikoofdeathplays You were on the right track though with the crossmembers. They do add some strength. You can use 45's and such off the main posts to support the roof/flooring above. Just make sure the main posts themselves are supported down to the foundation.

    When is this game going to wipe progress?

    • @nikoofdeathplays
      @nikoofdeathplays  15 дней назад +1

      Short answer is that we don't know for sure. They've said they want to limit how wipes to be as few and as limited in scope as possible. I think in their ideal state, there would only be a wipe at the end of early access when the game goes live. Realistically, they will likely have a couple over the next year or so. I imagine they will try to limit what gets wiped where they can.

      I could guess in a year or so. BUT. As example Arma Reforger was supposed to be in development for a year and its like 2 now and no end in sight. So... :)

      The devs said it will be at least a year before release, which makes me think it'll be over a year before release. I'm betting they do a release with less content than they'd like then follow up with an update a bit later.
