LOVE those Santas! in another life, I was a machine knitter and had to buy my yarns on cones. After the yarn was done, I was left with these wonderful cones that I just cover with either plastic wrap or newspaper to form the trees around. Guess I was lucky I was kind of a yarn horder and saved all those cones! Glad you are back doing videos and wishing you the best in your next procedure! hope to see you back again real soon!
Thank you so much for your fun and incredibly helpful videos! I’ve been hand building for a few years but man I’m picking up some awesome tips from you! Feels like I’m doing pottery with a friend 💗
My prayers are for your quick recovery. I know the pain well. The additional pain added with not being able to have good studio time. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.
Thank you so much for sharing how you do these cute Santa' s. I already have decided to make them for 2023 Yule. Even make an "Icelandic version of them because we do have our own version of Yule lads, 13 of them, as a matter of fact. They were not as nice as the Santa Klaus,, were mischievous and naughty, but fun. Take care and get better soon!
You are such a pleasure to watch. I’m definitely going to make some of your pieces. So glad I found you. If you’ve had your surgery I hope it went well. Otherwise wishing you all the best and I hope you don’t have to wait too much longer. Looking forward to the Christmas trees. X
I love your teaching style, very easy and fun to follow and amazing results. I am not very good at pottery, but I enjoy the process and keep me sane. So, I keep trying and your videos helps a lot. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Can't wait to see the rest, your Santa's are adorable as are all your hand built items!!! Thank you for teaching us your techniques!!! Best wishes on your knee...
OMG, he's one gorgeous Santa. Love his mates, as well. Another project to add to my list. I made a fairy tree house yesterday. Turned out not too bad. All the best for your knee op. Hope your Thanksgiving is a happy one 😊
OMG!!! I love him! Thank you so much for the video, but you had better take care of yourself. I'll be starting one of these today. I hope your family recovers quickly.
Very cute. I was hand painting angels and fairies today, for some reason I decided to hand paint all the faces. lol Now I will have to make Santas. Another Great tutorial. I love your tutorials so easy to follow. Good luck with your surgery.
Hi Tiffany, Ive been watching your videos on Santa's, I really love your large Scandinavian style one, I live in England and can't seem to find a bisc cone like yours could you please tell me who to contact , there's nothing on etsy. Many thanks, and thankyou for your great Ideas , have a great Christmas Xx Val
Here is the website that I order my cones from: learnfiredarts.com/shop/ols/products/12-cone-clay-puzzling-mold They do ship internationally, too. You can make your own bisque mold. You could use cardboard to make the cone then cover it with clay, make sure you use plastic or paper or knee highs for the clay to be able to release and then fire and use it as your form. Hood luck. I love Learned Fired Arts for many of their pottery tools.
Love, love these Santa's. Thank you so much for your generous sharing of how to make them. I'm definitely going to try my hand at them. Just curious, but what price do you sell the large ones for?
Hey there … just recently discovered your channel, and must say a big thank you! 🫶. Although I am limited to air dry clay, your techniques are so transferable! Thank you kindly for sharing your knowledge. 🥰

Brilliant as always! I didn't realise you were having surgery again so soon! Best ofluck Tiffany. Love the tall Santa too. What size triangle did you use? Thank you 😊
Thank you. For the smaller Santa's, the triangle is 6x6x6. The larger ones I just patchworked the clay into the cone I had and smoothed it over.
@@hobblecreekpottery Thank you. I made a 6 incher already at your recommendation. I will make a cone then and do that. 😊
These are fired at Cone ? And are your glazes different than the glazes used for mugs etc? How do these colors not run together? Thank you.
Hi! I love your tutorials, I would love to know where I can get my brand seal done, I noticed that you didn’t brand your Santa this time, but I seen it from other videos, I appreciate it, thanks
Sharon Hoppe Designs made it for me. She's always great to work with and has made me many custom stamps. Tell her I sent you. 😀
@@hobblecreekpottery thank you
What kind of clay do you use?
Merci beaucoup 🙏🏽
Amen sistah.. alaska men rock!
Married one! They sure do. 😉
@@hobblecreekpottery why didnt you stay in AK.. its gorgeous
@@jackiemorrison2661 I'd be there if I had a choice. My hubby is in computers and no jobs for what he does up there.
Are there any pictures of Santa Claus glazed? Thanks❤
Probably in a kiln opening close to the Santa video, or over on my Instagram page. There were really cute. @hobblecreekpottery.
Thank yooooou 💕🎅
Love the santas! I think they are my favorite so far, but I've always had a soft spot for the fat guy. Take care of yourself first Tifinie.
Ahh, thank you. Love the fat guy too!
❤Herzallerliebst ❤
how exactly do you cut the craft foam 6x6x6?
I find it's easiest to start with a circle and then cut the triangle shape out of that. You can make the triangle any size you'd like. Good luck.
