Thanks for watching! I highly recommend Just A Few Acres Farm, he is very helpful and in my opinion the best farm channel on RUclips.

Great looking fence. The donkeys are great to have with your cows too. Up here in West Virginia, we have problems with coyotes. In calving season donkeys will protect your herd. They will put the hurts on coyotes, or dogs anything that threaten them.

Thank you sir! We’re planning to turn them out with the cows as soon as we get them halter broke. We have coyotes occasionally, and an occasional dog strolling through so they might come in handy!

Any thoughts on changing the gate to hinge on the other post. Then it lays flat against a fence line when open.

That is a good idea. I was trying to avoid concrete around the pole so I cheated and hung it on the board side.

It's looking good, sir, hopping to get my content up and going so with my channel. It's a lot of work doing fencing. But you have a lot of little helper.. and as always, god bless and stay safe from the Buckeye state..

How far are post spreaded apart ?

Currently, they are 8 feet apart, that will probably change though. We will most likely add one in between to make them 4 foot on center, just for added strength.
