Brians' book learned me one thing. Christianity robbed the Ancient World of the Eleusian Mysteries, that made live livable on this planet, as Preatextatus stated. I understand now better why I live an unlivable life in our current Bullshit society. Either we're reclaming the Mysteries in a new way and restore them in full glory, or mankind will go extinct. Thank you both!

Only nine comments in nine months? Where is everyone?
Those clearly are mushrooms depicted on the Persephone relief. Why would someone want to call them roses?
It's always a pleasure to listen to Brian's always lucid and fluid and always educational discourse. And it's so good to see that our last remaining McKenna is still with us.
Considering what I just remarked about Dennis, I must observe that Terence isn't really gone, is he. He's actually now more in the world than he was when alive, thanks to his amazing presence on the internet. I still occasionally come across new material from him despite many years of listening. I'm so grateful to those diligent souls with tape recorders who somehow "knew", starting with his earliest work, how valuable his gentle wisdom would be in the future.

Only the ones ready will hear or see this, it's triggering to everyone else....not many want to even discuss it...sad. Thanks guys, excellent job.

The mushroom has always been there for us. A healer, A guide. A nutritious flesh.

I wonder if Dennis and Terence read Stanley Weinbaum as kids?

great discussion. i've listened to several interviews with Muraresku that cover similar topics. But here with Dennis' experience and questions, new topics are explored that are of deeper interest to me. i hope you two meet again to further investigate and allow us to listen.
