Nicely executed design manufacture and adjustments ! For the UK the tire would need to be slightly more central due to being able to see both rear lights clearly, but that’s just a bit of tinkering to achieve !
Hi guys!. very interesting. With a little preparation and cnc cutting you can provide a kit for sale. By the way, how much does it weight?. Can be certified legally for the road?. And regarding the roofrack kit, there are any news?. Thanks in advance
Thank you! Maybe it could be done but to be very honest I think the time and work involved would not be worth it at the end... I don't know about the legislation in other countries but I would say it would not possible to certify. When it comes to TUV certification for example it is very expensive to undergo that process and get stuff certified, completely out of budget for "a group of guys" who fab some stuff out of the garage... We have been rolling with ours for almost 1 year and no prob yet... But its definitely a liability we don't want.. Weight without tire is around 12kg not counting the tow bar which is already part of the vehicle. As far as the roofrack kit we're finalizing the last details and should be releasing something soon! Cheers
it is legal in your country to do that yorself? here you have to have omologations (stas..) on evry thing. you canot got certification on that, (even if you have a bissnes to do that,,,,is verry dificult)
