Well... I'm already up to 2 grand in monthly in dividends. So... between that plus the $1500 monthly I'm putting in means.. I'll be making about 10 grand or more in monthly dividends this time next year.
@HonorableInvesting yeah but only 50% because of taxes / theft. Never know when things will dump gotta pay the yearly visitor. Will be putting some into lower risk etfs and a stock like ice, schd, vym, and sphd as time goes on big money goes into those things once the monthly income is at 10k to 15k

this is misleading, your numbers are assuming IWMY has a payout of $1.30-1.31 when the average dividen payment is $1.14, the stock has only paid 1.25 or above for 3 out of the 7 payments.
Distributions = $9.11 , share price loss $4.60. Net gain $4.51. % gain is $4.51/$20.00 initial price = 22.55%. 22.55% - 20% federal tax = 18.05% net return. Less 1% mgmt fee is 17.05% total gain since inception on October 31,2023. 102% stated return by defiance funds is wildly misleading.
17% in 7 months is not horrible either though. You’re not losing and it’s highly liquid. Its really very stupid that they state 102% because they’re making you expect something so way way higher than what you’re actually getting so that even decent returns look like trash compared to what you were expecting
interesting.. in comparison. amzy seems to be way better than iwmy. after doing TA, this thing is eroding. every payout, the stock goes down $1 where amzy keeps going up.

The total return since inception is in fact actually lower. Defiance funds are hot garbage 🗑

The problem is this stock is also down 6 dollars total return is very small
