@@tysonhutchinson9301 This post is over a year old; you are a little late guy. I was calm when I wrote it, and I still feel the same way. Sorry you found my opinion so overwhelming.
I can't agree more. I have restored 5 or 6 original pacman and ms. pacman cabinets that were in far worse shape than this one. I currently own two original pacman cabinets and a reunion cabinet. That monitor could have stood to have a new cap kit installed and probably would have soldiered on for another 30 years; if it had not been met with a sledge hammer. But instead lets bash it up? I don't get it. Could have taken marquee off the front and back door and took everything out piece by piece to show how it all fits. Did not even know that those blocks in the bottom were the isolation transformers. ;-( I restored an asteroids deluxe a few years ago for someone to purchase; that inquired about it. They kept pushing the pickup date off. So I eventually just told them; I don't think they are worthy of the machine; after I went through everything and replaced all caps and highly suspect transistors and instead gave it to a friend of mine. I know where the machine lives and that was 13+ years ago.
That manual had a documentation on how to open the machine safely. ..not like he's ever going to read or anything. And cheap? This thing is cheap? Excuse me? What kind of BS is that!?
Dude, no. I do like your channel, but, you need to think about what you destroy. This was a rare piece of history. I agree with the others that said “why didn’t you just open the back?”

Im doing everything I can to save and restore My Pac Man On My Channel that I lost in a flood last year. I teach my son how to respect the gaming past and restore pieces of Gaming History..... Not Destroy it. This is completely not cool.
Have you ever thought about inviting someone to the party, who knows (just a little bit) more about eletronics than constantly yelling "look how cool this is"? This is a shame!
The Cooper coil is called an electron cannon. and that silver dust is phosphorous. and the "glass" which really is lead crystal is one inch thick because when you throw electrons on phosphorous it shoots out X rays
Yes if we can say that. This is what will happen if you leave the screen projecting the same image for years. This is why there was the screen saver. Basically it is just a moving image for protecting the tv from burning in. Also, you get the same effect by turning off the tv.
You should do this again but cut the crt in half :) Make sure to turn it on before to test that it works first! Don't bother to discharge it it's fine.
I'm sorry, did you just destroy a working original Pac-Man arcade cabinet? Did you know that you can open the cabinet up with the latches you sawed open? It's true! Did you know that the person people are calling the Father of Pac-Man died recently? It's true! Did you know that this is a coveted piece of game history and belongs in a museum or an arcade? Please take care of artifacts like this which you were extremely lucky to own.
I get where you're coming from but calm down.
@@tysonhutchinson9301 This post is over a year old; you are a little late guy. I was calm when I wrote it, and I still feel the same way. Sorry you found my opinion so overwhelming.
Why do I so agree with this
I can't agree more.
This was so painful to watch with Pac-Man being my favorite game
Absolutely insane. If want to look inside the machine, just need to open the rear panel... with the key! :(
stay mad
@@Xtopher5 shut
That manual had a documentation on how to open the machine safely.
..not like he's ever going to read or anything.
And cheap? This thing is cheap? Excuse me? What kind of BS is that!?
why tf did he destroy a 1980 pack man machine but kept the manual
InfinityStudios YT good thing Lincoln isn’t reading that he might know what why tf means!
he kinda dumb
Wouldn't the machine go for a few thousand bucks? Maybe disassemble a less popular machine.
what the f**k he said pack man is pac-man
InfinityStudios YT I know
"Whats inside an arcade machine?" MY HEART AND SOUL! Yee. I love it.
Opens it up and there's just this old guy sitting in it operating it.
That Diabolo Guy ahhahahaha
4:41 those are transformers to reduce the voltage so the 120 volts in the wall socket don’t fry the chip board.
What a way to destroy a beautiful piece of art. Way to go guys!
Dude, no. I do like your channel, but, you need to think about what you destroy. This was a rare piece of history. I agree with the others that said “why didn’t you just open the back?”
I can't believe this man were to completely destory a perfectly fine genuine arcade cabinet of a famous 1980 game rather than a replica. So hard to watch and this is a disgrace!
When you stand behind it you can already see whats inside .......
Cut open the broken saw 3:59
"Some kind of amplifier for... the energy "
The Cooper coil is called an electron cannon. and that silver dust is phosphorous. and the "glass" which really is lead crystal is one inch thick because when you throw electrons on phosphorous it shoots out X rays
the coils are the deflection coil and the electron cannon goes down the center.
Jeffery Green maybe I should re - read my science notes
The man obsessed with Pac man would probably have a break down if he saw this 😂😂😂 You have destroyed the great yellow one!!
5:02 is that screen burn-in?
Yes if we can say that. This is what will happen if you leave the screen projecting the same image for years. This is why there was the screen saver. Basically it is just a moving image for protecting the tv from burning in. Also, you get the same effect by turning off the tv.
Pretty much
PacMan:Now that u see whats inside of me do u want to see whats insede of you???
You:OH HELL NO!
The Feeder One hi
You don’t need to say bad stuff in the comments what if Lincoln was reading ot
I meant it
Grant Halsne even better if Lincon saw this
Wtf. That mechiene is worth more than a couple bucks, its gaming history. The fact that you deliberately destroyed it is disgusting.
stay mad
It really isn't
You should do this again but cut the crt in half :)
Make sure to turn it on before to test that it works first! Don't bother to discharge it it's fine.
Yeah it's a GREAT idea for someone as privileged as yourself
Not talking about you
5:38 that's what she said
I'm sorry, did you just destroy a working original Pac-Man arcade cabinet?
Did you know that you can open the cabinet up with the latches you sawed open? It's true!
Did you know that the person people are calling the Father of Pac-Man died recently? It's true!
Did you know that this is a coveted piece of game history and belongs in a museum or an arcade? It's true!
-8/8 gotta r8 with h8 m8
Ti's not a big deal my friend, he owns it, he can do what he wants with it
So sad to see such a good classic arcade cabinet get destroyed
stay mad
ThE ReSaLe vAluE is ArOuNd 1000-2000 dollars, it's really not thaat RaRE... 🤮
Don't forget to do what's inside my family next!
If you managed to put it back together I would gladly take the entire machine.
Guy “ hey I don’t want to break the monitor “ causally kicks monitor*
Hey dad thanks for showing me what vandalism actually means.
They owned it, it isn't vandalism
I bet there’s no one watching this video that’s actually interested in seeing what’s inside it
Note: I am interested
