My cousins had this record whereas I had Rock n Roll albums during this time. Secretly I liked them but wouldn't admit it because they were labelled 'disco'. Beyond disco like Beatles were beyond pop. These guys were BEAST man! I feel they had the 'hardest' & unique sound of the Funk/RnB groups of the 70's including Rick James. I would say they were the 'Led Zeppelin' of the Funk/RnB genre. Worthy of musicology study. Monster baby, just monster!
