Very good video. Fire breathing monsters, still the best description of top fuelers. Mechanical engineering marvels.

If youve never been to an NHRA drag race and your any type of a gearhead, its something you cannot miss. Just went for my first time and i could not fuckin believe the power of the top fuel cars. At idle its no big deal, at full throttle on the first pass, i had no words

That sound is completly unexplainable you have to be there to understand it. Your heart turns to a V8

Roman Caddell I can explain it. stand next to a nuke when it goes off. well I guess that wouldn't get you far, but I think that would be the best comparison. hehehe.

Let's keep the love alive. Drag your "nitro virgin" friends with you every time you go. Film them, on the sly.

I'm pretty sure it's a crank case pressure relief catch can.. oil particles will be pushed thru along with the air the tank collects it to keep it off the track

"BURP tank. Look it up. You'll like what you learn.

Puke Tank. Catches Oil & Nitro vapor from the Valve Covers and Crankcase.
If Crankcase Pressure spikes ie Burned Pistons, broke Pistons the blower forces air/fuel into the crankcase. That ends up getting blown into the Valve Covers and vented into the Puke Tank.

Fun fact: Reaction engines were banned mainly because they put traction engines to shame....and could be scaled up beyond all human limits just by increasing exhaust nozzle diameter. Nothing has come even close to the acceleration and top speed of the best rocket cars that last raced over 30 decades ago.

30 decades ago, your parents didn't pay much for your education did they. That's 300 years ago.
