That's a big puffer! o.o I've had my green spotted puffer for about a year and a half now, and he's still only about 1 inch long. How long did it take Pierre to get that big, anyway?
@AQUATUBR We cannot afford to have a full marine tank, but what is the closest we could get? We have a 20 gallon aquarium and are thinking about getting one puffer. Are the figure eight puffers any different?
@2l28DRAIN They do good in fresh water as a juvenile, you`ll need to gradually go from brackish to full marine by time it reaches about two or three years old.Glad you got a puffer btw, they`re very smart and interesting creatures.
really nice video , nice fish, but this is not tetraodon nigroviridis, this is tetraodon fluviatilis, not the same, if you want to see a real GSP go to: sy300, his fish its a real GSP. But i think your fish is great.
@09kitty23 Don't do it man, these puffers are aggresive to fish, I had one and it killed 3 fishes of mine b/c it nipped there fins :( just get the clownfishes and some anenomes :D
i just have to let you know that this is one of my favorite videos on the entire youtube. thank you so much
I love how the music fits perfectly!
Song is pretty cool for a puffer video. :P
Currently have a GSP and he is around 3-4 years old, how long until yours was full grown?
looks great...now stop feeding him goldfish ;)
Do you still have him? How big is it?
that face!~
i have 2 green spotted puffers in marine water with a snowflake moray eel and a dwarf lionfish, i love them!
very cool puffer! i hope mine gets that big someday
@Spiderdjeru I only feed him goldfish once and awhile,he eats mostly shrimp and crayfish.
@JoseDepacos i agree, most puffers should be kept alone in nothing smaller than a 30 gallon.

@1027liv He`s about six inches and about five years old now,I`d say he will max out at about seven inches.

One of my GSP's looks just like this guy! Only smaller.
