    Currently have a GSP and he is around 3-4 years old, how long until yours was full grown?

    i have 2 green spotted puffers in marine water with a snowflake moray eel and a dwarf lionfish, i love them!

    @Spiderdjeru I only feed him goldfish once and awhile,he eats mostly shrimp and crayfish.

    @JoseDepacos i agree,most puffers should be kept alone in nothing smaller than a 30 gallon.

    That's a big puffer! o.o
    I've had my green spotted puffer for about a year and a half now, and he's still only about 1 inch long.
    How long did it take Pierre to get that big, anyway?

    @1027liv He`s about six inches and about five years old now,I`d say he will max out at about seven inches.

    @AQUATUBR We cannot afford to have a full marine tank, but what is the closest we could get? We have a 20 gallon aquarium and are thinking about getting one puffer. Are the figure eight puffers any different?

    @2l28DRAIN They do good in fresh water as a juvenile,you`ll need to gradually go from brackish to full marine by time it reaches about two or three years old.Glad you got a puffer btw,they`re very smart and interesting creatures.

    @ShinyDazzlight might be stunted, how big of a tank is it in? what are your parameters? how many fish live with him?

    Mine is just under 4" and 3-4 years old. In full marine

    really nice video , nice fish, but this is not tetraodon nigroviridis, this is tetraodon fluviatilis, not the same, if you want to see a real GSP go to: sy300, his fish its a real GSP.
    But i think your fish is great.

    @09kitty23 Don't do it man, these puffers are aggresive to fish, I had one and it killed 3 fishes of mine b/c it nipped there fins :( just get the clownfishes and some anenomes :D
