this is what is happening: the guy yelling is a crack dealer and also apparently on it himself. he is upset because a car full of youths wanted to buy his crack for a price he deems unfair, so he is throwing a tantrum and calling them "rich suburb creeps". the man who approaches after the youths drive off is trying to calm him down by telling him that they'll be back, and together the two denounce the youths. at the end, the yelling man is shown peddling crack to another car of youths.
I have this ad on my audiocassettes. I'm not sure, but I think the point they're trying to make is that 1) sometimes pushers will act like they're your friends, but the truth is they just want your money and 2) Rich kids and middle class kids use drugs as much as poor kids, if not more, so parents, don't think that just because you live in a "nice" neighborhood that you kids aren't getting into drugs. Don't get mad at me-I'm just saying what I think the ad is trying to say.
0:43 well I think it's obvious what's going in here. The man kicking the car and overacting clearly has a persecuted complex and his parents never really cared enough about him to get their shit together and move to the suburbs. Tragic really, I see it all the time.
@SwitchbladeKitty no...I live here in New Mexico and there are Hispanics that do meth. I do meth and Im Native American weird huh? I don't drink or smoke and etc. Just meth. : ( Been struggling with it since 2004 (Im 28 yrs. old)
I have no idea what the hell was the idea behind this, but I'm pretty sure it would've been more effective if nicholas cage played the dealer.

lol what kind of dealer walks up to a car and says "hey man i got some good crack!?" lol. Sound and looks like an undercover.
The actor playing the crackhead was the park bum harassing Michael Douglas in Falling Down.
Holy crap...good call!
+420Man haha nice catch!
Lol
That is true. John Fleck is his name.
Good eye, man
Well, Nick cage had to start somewhere...
Wasn't this the one in falling down?
I think this is really a PSA against getting high on your own supply.
@9000AWC Indeed. "Drivin' their daaaa-deeee's big caaaaaar!"
He's the type to say: I'll be right back and go out the back door of the trap house.
Man…I’ve been looking for this psa since 1997. I finally found the right search words.
I always demand to see at least five sealed vials of crack rocks in a sealed plastic baggie before talking about any crack deal.
Dam, look how big the caps where back then!
If Jerry Seinfeld was a drug dealer.
I know, he sounds just like him!
Either 1982 or 1984
DAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaDdDdDdYyYyYys CAaAaAaAaAaRrRr!!
No more bizarre than having Pee Wee Herman in a drug PSA
I plan on screaming "CREEP KIDS!" at children randomly.
And am I the only one who thinks that guy looks just like UFC Fighter Stephan Bonnar?
How did the first part of this go? Asking for a friend
That's just a normal day in Charleston SC 😂😂

@SwitchbladeKitty thanks for the support. I to hope I conquer my addict.
good luck, you can do it
I think the idea is for the kids to see what happens when you get high.
This guys trying an Andrew Dice Clay angle
Somebody needs some downers. This guy's loco.
@45 second mark-was that a flashback of Nickolas Cage the crack dealer, years earlier coming in from the suburbs to get high?
Man I tell you guys, the Reagan anti drug DARE administration MADE more druggies than prevented. These commercials were practically ADVERTISEMENTS!
seems legit
@HARRIS2820 You could do that when crack first came out. That shit was easy as selling girl scout cookies back in the day.
