Meth and crack users also don't get "spiders under their skin". It's hollywood stigma. I've been addicted to amphetamines before and some of the hallucinations I experienced during psychosis were: -Birds chirping sounded maliciously demonic. -Neighbours using power tools sounded like they were chopping up bodies and grinding down bones. -Heard creeks, thuds and tapping noises that sounded like there were creatures living in my walls. -Shadow people that seemed disinterested in me. -Objects like my trash can would sometimes shake violently leading me to think there was a giant spider or snake trying to get out and cause hell. I knew the hallucinations were fake and they were not the main issue with the psychosis. The main issue was the constant fear that lead me to create crazy irrational scenarios within my own head to explain simple events.

Meth and crack users also don't get "spiders under their skin". It's hollywood stigma. I've been addicted to amphetamines before and some of the hallucinations I experienced during psychosis were:
-Birds chirping sounded maliciously demonic.
-Neighbours using power tools sounded like they were chopping up bodies and grinding down bones.
-Heard creeks, thuds and tapping noises that sounded like there were creatures living in my walls.
-Shadow people that seemed disinterested in me.
-Objects like my trash can would sometimes shake violently leading me to think there was a giant spider or snake trying to get out and cause hell.
I knew the hallucinations were fake and they were not the main issue with the psychosis. The main issue was the constant fear that lead me to create crazy irrational scenarios within my own head to explain simple events.
