The rolling hills, wildlife, and ice bubbles are what make that area of the Rockies my favourite. Thanks for the memory Simon.

It's not a bad spot! Thanks for watching 🙏

A 3.5 hour slog, right? That’s the same slog we in Edmonton face driving anywhere in the Rockies 😅 But whenever I’m complaining about that drive I remind myself how many people need a plane to cross Banff off their bucket list… and especially for those folks your channel should be required viewing so they get the best out of their trip!

Ha ha, hard to get out of bed that early unless I know the bubbles are good and not covered in snow!

Nice shots and good tips. I admire anyone who makes the trek out there in winter. I would have gone to Abraham Lake, but it was autumn when I was there. So, I just headed up toward Jasper.

It's actually great on Autumn too. Flooded Aspen trees and lots of colour. It is a long way from Calgary though for sure.

@@simoncennals I should have gone to Abraham Lake. Is the store and gas station open at the intersection of Icefield Pkwy and the road to Abraham Lake during the winter? How about Kananaskis? Is it open in Winter?

@@PhotoTrekr no gas stations are open on the Parkway but fuel up in Lake Louise and you'll have plenty to get there and back. Kananaskis is open up to Highwood pass but lots to do around there in winter.

@@simoncennals Definitely be prepared when out and about. Must be beautiful in the Winter.
