I sit in a weird spot because I somewhat prefer fights to guys settling it by wrecking on track, but I also come from a background as an MMA fan long before racing, so I know what someone who either knows how to fight, or wants to legitimately hurt someone is capable of. With all the metal, concrete, glass, etc, laying around, it's a dangerous environment for there to be fights.

I’d say yea fights are definitely more common now especially because of how relaxed nascar has been when it comes to penalizing drivers for it. Fights in the sport (to me personally) aren’t even unique anymore because they happen so often, they use to be a once or twice a year thing across the top 3 series
