covers mostly everything to the basics of the swing and playing golf better.. thumbs up!! I'm watching your videos regularly to get tips here and there to correct my swing!! awesome video and your a great instructor! FYI it's not boring, people are sometimes impatient watching detailed golf instructions but this one is on point how to make your swing better!! keep it coming mark!
I'm not sure you could really call me a golfer - I'm more of a seasoned golf ball walker, but I certainly enjoy myself. Your videos are great...this is exactly what a beginner like myself needs!
hey Mark, watching this video has turned my game around. Its simple how you explain and apply the fundamentals to the game. Watched this video on Friday and went and played a round on Sat. Driving the ball straighter and longer - hoooray Slice gone. Keep it mark!!!
Excellent lesson. Thank you. Its amazing how so many problems arise from an incorrect setup. By changing something small at setup - the entire swing changes.
Mark Thats a great help - I found I was almost pointing my hips to 2 o'clock on the backswing - so no wonder I was swinging my club back so far - Keeping my knees and hips stiffer really restricts how far I can take the club back now. Top man and top advice, thankyou ! John
I was definitely over rotating in addition to having a strong grip. Thank you for explaining this, it was very beneficial for me and now that I understand how to weaken my grip and where the club head should be I will be much straighter and have more control. Thanks again!
Great video Mark, thought i had my grip correct but it turns out my right hand grip was not correct, after watching this video i played 9 holes and i hit every fairway of the tee. Loving your videos, helping my game dramatically. Wish you were here in Australia so i could get some 1 on 1 lessons.
As a player who has been fitted for my irons and my driver, I would recommend it. It can make a huge difference to your game in the short term and in the long term. Allowances for growth can be made when being fitted, on my irons I had half an inch added on when at the time I only needed half. So I suggest you get fitted for your clubs.
Your comments on hand position has just stopped me from biblically cleansing my local driving range. Couldn't understand what I had inadvertently altered over the last few weeks but i'd started pulling everything. Then pushing when over-correcting mid swing. Take a look at the grip - left hand opened, right hand over - ball straight-ish 7 times out of 10. That's a win. Great tips almost centuries on...
Mark- great video again thank you. Do you ever get problems on "over swinging" just being caused by the wrists collapsing? The shoulders stop turning and the wrists just keep cocking/sagging. I see this frequently with lady golfers. Thanks again for the videos!
Mark I know you have videos on hip turn but can you maybe put some more tips in next weeks video. I always have trouble getting stuck at impact causing me to lose posture, but like you said I cant seem to locate the area to turn.
How are people still not grasping the concept that having a strong grip is bad. Mark has made DOZENS of videos explaining proper golf grip. Now it's almost every other week!
Mark, do you have any tips to combat turning the head too soon to watch the ball flight instead of waiting and watching to see the ball. i feel like once my shoulder turns my head seems to go w/ it.
2 things. For the most part, you don't want to be 'rotating' your hands, and when you're rotating your shoulders, you also need to be rotating your upper chest, while keeping your shoulder blades stable. If you have the time, watch Body Swing Connection from MyTPI on youtube, they explain it much better than I can. Also your swing path itself may be starting on the wrong plane. You could be starting your swing too far outside of your body, which encourages keeping your hands closed.
I fixed my right hand grip as you said on your video. But when I take my club back, the club face is still closed and I can see the face of the clubhead in the middle of my backswing(down the line view) it seems like palm of my right hand is facing down toward the ground in the takeaway. how do i fix this? I tried to rotate my hands to open the club face or rotate my shoulders flat level to maintain it opened, but club goes more inside and it doesn't open that much...
Wouldn't another cause of early extension be my attempt to avoid hitting the ground? If the grip is fine, but I release the club early in the downswing, then I'm going to hit behind the ball unless I stand up.
Mark do you have a start from zero lesson set? Been playing for 30 years and cannot get rid of the over swing.....cupping wrist bad an all....any help!?
just started playing when i swing my driver the ball pops up goes about 100 yards how to fix and also i am desperately struggling to swing my irons when i swing them the ball goes to the left and not far at all please help me thanks
Get a nice set of graphite irons, then get steel shafted in a few years. Trust me I did this and you need graphite shafts at 13, also get really forgiving irons, ones with big cavities.
The biggest thing that has improved my golf game is watching Mark Crossfield.
I watch all your video´s - and no, your not boring, its what the people want Mark, keep it up!
I'm a scratch golfer, and still watch these videos just so I can help fellow Golfers. Great work mark!

You are a terrific teacher! Love everyone of your videos.
Mark, you are just such a great teacher!!!!!!!!!
Excellent videos Mark. Great to see how far they've come.
"sometimes you need to find the other side of the equation....." GREAT ADVICE. I LOVE THAT STYLE OF TEACHING.
Thanks
Extremely easy to understand.. I just neutralised my grip and that is it. The hook has gone. Thanks Mark. Really appreciate your vids..
MARKY i've watched your channel groww! its awesome please keep up the great work we the public truly enjoy it!
Excellent lesson. Thank you. Its amazing how so many problems arise from an incorrect setup. By changing something small at setup - the entire swing changes.
mark your understanding of the swing is wonderful. I enjoy your videos and as a young teaching pro have benefited from your thoughts and insights
Mark

Really helpful, keep them coming. Thank you.
Very good overswing tip Mark.
good comment, yes a few but not many. Often golfers who dont turn at all will tend to pick up with the arms and collapse.
The biggest thing that has improved my golf is sorting my grip, especially that right hand grip, makes such a big difference.
thanks for watching.
Mark great information and it works because how you deliver that information and get the message across. ...keep up the good work
Thanks Tommy
Wish you ran golf lessons in Scotland then maybe I could get better at this great.....but frustrating game...lol

Great Videos! I went from slicing every shot to hitting them strait, left, or right. #progress still working out the kinks lol
Really nice video and advices, thanks, great work !
Mark- great video again thank you.

thanks hope it helps.
Hey mark, great vid. Could you do something on getting the club to turn over properly?
Mark I know you have videos on hip turn but can you maybe put some more tips in next weeks video. I always have trouble getting stuck at impact causing me to lose posture, but like you said I cant seem to locate the area to turn.
Great vids mate, really helpfull.
Keep up the good work.
I seriously just had this problem on the driving range today, everything went left, hopefully this will help me out
u let me know b4 playing the good golf ,must hv good grip and over swing. Thank you
good video mate, very helpful
you need a better camera man, we are missing were the top of the club is. Thanks for making these videos mate, they help heaps!
hey mark I was wondering if I should get custom fitted for my irons even though i'm 13 and still have tons of growing to do. Thanks for any reply
How are people still not grasping the concept that having a strong grip is bad. Mark has made DOZENS of videos explaining proper golf grip. Now it's almost every other week!
Alright well I have a set of burner 2.0 irons, but they have steel shafts. What would getting graphite shafts do for me??
get to a fitting and find out if it could help your golf. It sounds like steel will be fine
hello mark - great video as always! :)
I tend to snap-hook my driver. Is this caused by out-to-in path or is it more related to grip?
Mark, do you have any tips to combat turning the head too soon to watch the ball flight instead of waiting and watching to see the ball. i feel like once my shoulder turns my head seems to go w/ it.
Good shit, Mark.

You're a genius bro.
If you swing speed is around 80mph. Then is allows the shaft to bend more comparable to a steel shaft at 100mph.
Hey mark just wondering what kind of watch you have thanks !
Wouldn't another cause of early extension be my attempt to avoid hitting the ground? If the grip is fine, but I release the club early in the downswing, then I'm going to hit behind the ball unless I stand up.
Golf becomes really easy when you find a swing that works for you
Mark do you have a start from zero lesson set? Been playing for 30 years and cannot get rid of the over swing.....cupping wrist bad an all....any help!?
you can send it through his youtube channel, or facebook/twitter account
just started playing when i swing my driver the ball pops up goes about 100 yards how to fix and also i am desperately struggling to swing my irons when i swing them the ball goes to the left and not far at all please help me thanks
make sure you are watching the ball with your left eye, right handed golfer at address. This will help you keep your head behind at impact.
Hey mark can you have your left hand over to far? I feel like I do?
Hi Mark can i send you a video of my poor swing! Greetings from Sweden
Hey Mark,
How do i send in a video of my swing if i dont have an iphone, ipad or android? i have a blackberry. Can i email it somewhere?
The ball starts 85-90% of where the face is pointed. The club path determines shape.
Get a nice set of graphite irons, then get steel shafted in a few years. Trust me I did this and you need graphite shafts at 13, also get really forgiving irons, ones with big cavities.
my ball goes straight but then hooks right so I think its back spin but I don't know how to fix it.
Super vid's .. ;-)
why does my grip on my right hand open in my back swing
thanks Vinnie
Are you a fade player?
Same here.
Ok thanks.
haha it is a big problem with golfer. I dont think golfer look at their hands enough in the set up.
Don't bother w a 1 plane swing. Trying to generate enough power to hit the ball a ways will sabotage your posture and plane every time.
You spend far too much time telling about golfers faults instead of telling how to do the
swing the right way !
Those are some nasty looking swings in those videos.
Then it's a good thing they sent swing footage to Mark. Nice to see people seeking advice to have a little bit more fun the next time they go golfing.
thanks for watching.
