hi suyash, please enlighten me about my question. My wife worked in multiple company and in section D. Personal history she had like history 1-6 in different companies but all of these companies is located in the same city and she live in there house for all those years and had the same address eversince. In section H. Adress does she need to put those 6 sections eventhough she had all the same adress or 1 adress is enough?thank you

Looking for assistance, my wife and i added me to the 5669 scedule a form but i am the sponsor and am canadian but we cannot figure out how to remove me from the form. Any help on how to resolve this would be appreciated. We just had our application returned for the 2nd time. Thanks
@bakhuda we did just this week. We sent a letter asking that I be removed from that section as I was not supposed to be in it. We received our application back and we re now moving forward with the process.
when i started this form it already had my wife's first and last name in the your name category and wont let me edit or change it. same goes for the 2 options circles on top that i could select in the past. now i cannot edit it. so i only did her full name in native script in the full name in native language spot. 12:05

focus on longer duration addresses first. for the shorter duration addresses and holidays, add another letter of explanation with whatever you can. Try not to leave gaps in address history though. make your best attempt to provide all details.
I have experiencing complication with regards downloading form to my portal. This pop up "You have submitted an invalid form. Please complete and validate an electronic version of the application form, save it to your computer, and upload it." I use the form that is link to my portal and its still not working.

Hi suyash, please help with this letter I received it states “Please note your application has been rejected for the following reason: Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) not included/missing. The principal applicant and all dependent children 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form. Note: your application will be rejected as incomplete as soon as one requirement is missing. “ Do I have to to redo my entire application and update my signature date on my other forms if I’m apply online or can I just do over that one form and resubmit it along with the letter in my online portal and it would let me do. I’m confusing on reading the letter a bit. It would be nice if i could get some more guidance from you. Thank you lots
if you are submitting using the online portal, then this form is digital. filled inside the online portal. When they rejected your application, they must have marked this form as incomplete or missing in the online portal. In that case, all you have to do is provide what was marked as incomplete and resubmit through the return page. Whatever is Marked as complete you don’t have to touch that(assuming your first submission was online) if they have requested you to provide a PDF version of this form 5669 separately, then they must have given you instructions in the rejection letter on how to provide that. usually they ask you to upload any new document on your GC key(mycic) in any case, just provide what they submitted through your mycic account or webform

Hi, this has been causing me some anxiety, particularly with regards to question number 6 on form 5669 regarding Background Declaration on the spousal visa application “Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever: (d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or Visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? I recently realized that I made an error on submitting application (outland) by mistakenly checking the "No" box. yes. good question. i'd say include address of employer even if working from home, it is understandable given it was COVID and majority of us were infact wfh. to provide clarification, you can add more details about the wfh address in an explanation letter. label it "Schedule A - wfh explanation letter" or something like that. that will remove any confusion the officer may have(which wont be likely. they understand)
Sir how to enter village address in personal history. They asked for street number and name, but in passport it just mentioned VPO village name, City, Country. So should I enter VPO village name, as they mentioned not to add post office address. I m confused help me.

FORM 5669 - Schedule A (Background Decltn ) SETION: B Questionnaire - IT mentions some Qs. 4 &5 th mentions Have any family membre been refused .......visitor visa for Any other COUNTRY ALSO . If SPOSNER whoe is now PR Canada , and his USA visitor visa was refused. SHOULD I PUT NO. for both ? (instructions also mentions that form for non PR resident details , right?)
I dont think it is necessary, but if you select YES, you must provide a detailed explanation letter about that. otherwise it will just create a lot of hassle and confusion for the officer. Because 5669 is a principal applicant's form, i would not worry too much about sponsor's visa history.

Hi Suyash - in this form what should I enter under my mother's surname? Is that as per my passport or my mother's passport. I can submit an affidavit that both the names are for the same person, but in the form what should I enter?

Submitted my offer letter and declared that I just joined in. Now i have received a Schedule A request. Also this non contributing job also has crossed 1+ years. I just have a clarification regarding your understanding to the question: Have you, the principal applicant, or ANY OF THE FAMILY MEMBER been… For spousal application So when it says Family Member it refers immediate family member only including Spouse or dependent children (NOT Parents, Siblings) then you would answer NO to that if the one that was refused a Visa previously was your Siblings or Parents right?

Sorry you got this request. Although IRCC has requested the 5669 from other applicants also in the past. Not really sure why they requested it. But the best thing to do now is to provide the newly completed form with all the information(including information that was not previously provided). And this form is digital online(which you already provided when you submitted the application). So, I guess they are asking for a PDF version. From my research, i found that the form they are really looking for is the eIMM5669, even though in the message they sent you it erroneously says IMM 5669. You can find this form here www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides.html Select the "checklist" option, type 5669 in the filter items box. it will show up. download the eimm 5669(Even though it says for refugees, the eIMM 5669 is the form for spousal applications.), fill it out and send it to them either through your GC key or web form. I am not sure about this though. Confirm this with someone else to be safe.

But in IRCC letter they have mentioned to send new 5669 with Original Signature. In that case shall i type my name and also sign it in the available space to be safe. Yes. Even if the dependent(over 18 and under 22) is not being sponsored(non accompanying), they must be added in Schedule A for the purpose of IRCC background checks

You can download the pdf version of 5669 and fill it out. Yes it will not be the same as the original one you filled out digitally for your first submission.

I had a quick question with regards to native language: In form IMM0008 we are asked to specify our Mother Tongue/Native Language and if we enter English if it was the first language we were taught to speak and grown up studied in that language, can we only type our names in English in this form?
While your video series on Spousal Sponsorship is extremely good, there are few points I want to bring to your notice. When I started searching on RUclips for "Spousal Sponsorship", I encountered a lot of crap videos by agents. Then I started skipping many videos which looked like uploaded by an agent. I mistakenly missed your video as well. I suggest you to change your RUclips channel name to something more personal like "Suyash Vlogs" which doesn't sound like those of agents. Your logo with Canadian flag also gave agent's channel like feeling. Maybe like what others do, you can put a couple photo as the logo. As the channel is still at growth stage, you can change the name & logo with minimal repercussions. Just some friendly tips which I feel can increase the outreach of this amazing channel!!

I am guessing you are asking for spousal sponsorship - In that case, No. Since they are under 18, dependent child does not need to fill this out. They will be accounted for in 5406

In 5406, I believe details of dependent child under 18 has to be covered in Section B of PA's section right ? Hi Suyash, My AOR is from 2/12/2020. My biometrics were cleared on 19/1/2021. My remedicals were cleared on 25/4/2022 and on the same day they asked me for Schedule A background declaration form which I filled within few days. So my application status says we are processing your background check. I just wanted to know whats the next step now and how long will it take to get my COPR from here and how long does it take to process the Background Check?

We typed it up and uploaded it to the "other" section for uploads. It took about a month but we got it back Thursday as approved.

Do I have to to redo my entire application and update my signature date on my other forms if I’m apply online or can I just do over that one form and resubmit it along with the letter in my online portal and it would let me do. I’m confusing on reading the letter a bit. It would be nice if i could get some more guidance from you. Thank you lots
if you are submitting using the online portal, then this form is digital. filled inside the online portal. When they rejected your application, they must have marked this form as incomplete or missing in the online portal. In that case, all you have to do is provide what was marked as incomplete and resubmit through the return page. Whatever is Marked as complete you don’t have to touch that(assuming your first submission was online)
if they have requested you to provide a PDF version of this form 5669 separately, then they must have given you instructions in the rejection letter on how to provide that. usually they ask you to upload any new document on your GC key(mycic) in any case, just provide what they submitted through your mycic account or webform

I recently realized that I made an error on submitting application (outland) by mistakenly checking the "No" box. since it’s already submitted, not much you can do. but once it goes through, and you have AOR, you can raise a webform with ircc to inform them.

yes. good question. i'd say include address of employer even if working from home, it is understandable given it was COVID and majority of us were infact wfh. to provide clarification, you can add more details about the wfh address in an explanation letter. label it "Schedule A - wfh explanation letter" or something like that. that will remove any confusion the officer may have(which wont be likely. they understand)
Sir how to enter village address in personal history. They asked for street number and name, but in passport it just mentioned VPO village name, City, Country. So should I enter VPO village name, as they mentioned not to add post office address. I m confused help me.

If SPOSNER whoe is now PR Canada , and his USA visitor visa was refused. SHOULD I PUT NO. for both ? (instructions also mentions that form for non PR resident details , right?)
I dont think it is necessary, but if you select YES, you must provide a detailed explanation letter about that. otherwise it will just create a lot of hassle and confusion for the officer.
Because 5669 is a principal applicant's form, i would not worry too much about sponsor's visa history.

So when it says Family Member it refers immediate family member only including Spouse or dependent children (NOT Parents, Siblings) then you would answer NO to that if the one that was refused a Visa previously was your Siblings or Parents right?

I am not sure if you can comment on this, but I received an email to send, "A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature" despite having completed the online version of this form.

Sorry you got this request. Although IRCC has requested the 5669 from other applicants also in the past. Not really sure why they requested it. But the best thing to do now is to provide the newly completed form with all the information(including information that was not previously provided). And this form is digital online(which you already provided when you submitted the application). So, I guess they are asking for a PDF version.
From my research, i found that the form they are really looking for is the eIMM5669, even though in the message they sent you it erroneously says IMM 5669.

Select the "checklist" option, type 5669 in the filter items box. it will show up.
download the eimm 5669(Even though it says for refugees, the eIMM 5669 is the form for spousal applications.), fill it out and send it to them either through your GC key or web form.
I am not sure about this though. Confirm this with someone else to be safe.

@@HitSubmitCanadaHi Suyash, the eIMM 5669( one with the option to add line items), has a box to type the name with a line above that telling “typing the name will be considered as digital signature”. But in IRCC letter they have mentioned to send new 5669 with Original Signature.

the digital form does not require validation. it is filled inside the online portal. 5669 is digital. cannot be uploaded.

Yes. Even if the dependent(over 18 and under 22) is not being sponsored(non accompanying), they must be added in Schedule A for the purpose of IRCC background checks

i only submitted the sponsor's(my) employment letters. i did not submit wife's(PA) employment letter. simply provided info in schedule A

You can download the pdf version of 5669 and fill it out. Yes it will not be the same as the original one you filled out digitally for your first submission.

While your video series on Spousal Sponsorship is extremely good, there are few points I want to bring to your notice. When I started searching on RUclips for "Spousal Sponsorship", I encountered a lot of crap videos by agents. Then I started skipping many videos which looked like uploaded by an agent. I mistakenly missed your video as well. I suggest you to change your RUclips channel name to something more personal like "Suyash Vlogs" which doesn't sound like those of agents. Your logo with Canadian flag also gave agent's channel like feeling. Maybe like what others do, you can put a couple photo as the logo. As the channel is still at growth stage, you can change the name & logo with minimal repercussions. Just some friendly tips which I feel can increase the outreach of this amazing channel!!

I am guessing you are asking for spousal sponsorship - In that case, No. Since they are under 18, dependent child does not need to fill this out. They will be accounted for in 5406

Hi Suyash, My AOR is from 2/12/2020. My biometrics were cleared on 19/1/2021. My remedicals were cleared on 25/4/2022 and on the same day they asked me for Schedule A background declaration form which I filled within few days. So my application status says we are processing your background check. I just wanted to know whats the next step now and how long will it take to get my COPR from here and how long does it take to process the Background Check?
