Darren was born in Canada. Did a few singing contest shows as a young child. Went to the PH when he was 12 to take part in Voice Kids and relocated there permanently to hone his talent. He has an insane range, and is a belter, like Mori. They were limited on this performance as it was an official Disney event - they weren't allowed to change much or add any belts or riffs. It can be difficult to find good quality videos of Darren as many of his performances are blocked by the network he's on in PH. But there are a few performances from when he was in Canada during the pandemic (birthday concerts), to be with his family. He has a collab with Calum Scott - Heaven. And a great Christmas song filmed in Canada - Believe in Christmas. There are more videos of him when he was younger. Probably the most impressive vocally and performance-wise, is his version of I Believe (Fantasia), but also Chandelier, Despacito, and I'll Be There. Equally as and maybe even a tad more popular than Morissette in the PH. The crowd outside the bus would be as much for him as Mori (and also the fact that it was a Disney event - the live action Aladdin was showing on the side of the bus).
There is an insanely good duet of Darren and Morissette singing Chandelier when Darren was barely into his teens, his voice still was higher than Morissette's and he was barely taller than her. They had a concert in Frankfurt, Germany at the Zoom Club just last Saturday. Tons of fancams. Darren often refers to Morissette as "ate", older sister. They indeed have an interaction that is almost like siblings, with very similar singing talent. They sang Chandelier again last Saturday.
