Darren is also a versatile singer. You should watch more of him to see that he is special too. 💚 in this song he obviously didn’t do crazy stuff vocally. Morissette and Darren have more collabs together.

Mena Mossaud and Naomi Scott were the artists that sang this in the 2019 movie as well as stared in. Darren and Mori were asked by Disney to sing this, to promote the film in the Philippines. They also requested and wrote a song for Morissette to promote Disney+ in the Philippines and that is called...Imagine More . Shortly after this Alan Menken (composer) wanted to meet Morissette along with Will Smith so she flew to Tokyo and was put on the spot, to sing it. She and Darren also did an amazing cover of Chandelier on the WISH awards , 4 months prior to Darren's 15th B/day.

The original singers of "A Whole New World" in the animated Disney film "Aladdin" in 1992 were Brad Kane and Lea Salonga, also a Filipina. She was also the singing voice of "Mulan" in the animated movie. When Disney made the live-action film "Aladdin" in 2019, they chose Darren and Morissette to do a version of this iconic song for the promotion of the movie in the Philippines. And now we understand why they were handpicked by Disney, it's because they sound so close to Brad and Lea as the voices of Aladdin and Jasmine.
You said that Mori is a perfect vocalist and I agree completely. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but she knows how to use the different texture and colors of her voice to suit various genres. Such as in this one, she sounds like a Disney princess, sweet, girly. Every song she performs, whether an original or a cover, she does so beautifully and amazingly, that we can't help but like the song. In my case, some songs I didn't notice or liked previously but when I heard Mori sing them, they have become among my favorites. It's no wonder then that Mori has become the favorite singer of many of us, we consider her to be among the best vocalists we"ve ever heard. We are fortunate to have discovered her and listened to her ever since. 🥰
