I flashed LineageOS 21 rom to my old Samsung Galaxy S7. I love the results so far. No google apps. Better antutu score. Better and smoother performance. Plus I can now install better selection of apps. Since older android versions like Oreo are no longer compatible with newer apps.
I'm also using redmi note 8, before. The last update which is MIUI 12.5.2 android 11 was so heavy to use it also lags even i already uninstalled the bloatwares and it also has heating issue. But now I'm in custom rom (Pixel OS A13) i can tell that my device right now runs smoothly and Im not having a problem i only hope that Pixel OS release Android 14, i also tried Evolution X A14 it's good but i encountered restarting on system so i go back to Pixel OS. I miss some feature in MIUI like it has a volume adjustment in control center, Sidebar, Floating windows. But i wont go back in MIUI it makes my old phone (Redmi Note 8) laggy. And soon I'll be install Pixel OS on my Poco F3

@@jhormaner Something based on Android 11. Newer versions have worse customization. But this version is not supported on most of the ROMs anymore (no security patch updates) so security will be quite a problem

I have pixel os recovery install on my phone is it possible to adb sideload to change custom rom through pixel os recovery
