I feel you about getting older and wanting the slower FPS. The bunny hopping, and sliding needs to die off.
These games don't even have ''bunny hopping'' just look at Quake or the legend himself Phoon in CS:S.

The game is free to play. Why not just give it a chance. Idk if your a fps type of person or cod fan like I used to be. But if you are this game eliminates all that bs that comes with cod literally. It feels like old back in the day CODs with their matchmaking system and it has me and others absolutely hooked instead of playing COD for an hour and getting frustrated I play this from the time I come home from work up until 2am it’s literally addictive. Your choice is your choice and I understand Ubisoft doesn’t have the best track record. But if it’s free to play and people love it does it really hurt to give it a chance?

I still play Dirty Bomb. It's just good. I'm willing to give XDefiant a chance because it seems similar is some ways, but DB had some magic to it nobody else has been able to recreate yet. Tough shoes to fill
FFS this is NOT an arena shooter, that term is used for games such as Quake 3 or unreal tournament with their gameplay styles

In my experience, I've spent a bit of time with both Xdefiant and MW3, and I can confidently assert that neither game stands out as particularly impressive or unique. From a gameplay standpoint, they don't offer anything groundbreaking, and they're both developed by companies that seem indifferent to the consumer. However, considering all factors, I lean towards Xdefiant being marginally better, simply because if I'm going to engage with a lackluster game, I'd prefer it to be free of charge.

Seeing a lot of the people I subscribed to when I was 12-16 years old talking about this, i thought hey I would like to know more. Free to play? Okay cool. But the first frame seeing it, I knew I would be so incredibly bored of what looks like a Roblox shooter nowadays. This is definitely catered towards children wanting immediate “satisfaction” or just man children streaming it for clicks because they get overly angry every chance they get.
