John Brzenk born 1964, is an ex professional armwrestler from the United States. He competes in the Ultimate Armwrestling League and is the current UAL Right-Handed Champion . He won the 2015 World Armwrestling League right handed Heavyweight championship. Among experts Brzenk is widely regarded, and was also officially named by the Guinness Book of World Records, as the "Greatest Armwrestler of All Time.
Leonidas Arkona is a Powerlifter, who also is active in armwrestling. He achieved a 925 kg/2040 lbs Total at the Insanity Meet 2019 and also holds the German Strict Curl Record with 100kg. He just placed 2nd at the UAL Olympia competition and recently beat Schoolboy at East vs West.

Good Video! Schon unglaublich, dass Leonidas nach relaitiv kurzer Zeit die er diesesn Sport erst betreibt bereits einen School Boy besiegt und jetzt gegen den vielleicht besten Armwrestler aller Zeiten antreten kann. Egal wie das Match ausgeht, das kann nur gut werden.

Leonidas wird gut aussehen, gerade wenn es in die Straps geht, aber ein fast 60jähriger der 40 Jahre top Level ist, dem gönne es ihm fast eher, obwohl ich sonst immer für Leo wäre. Ich hoffe nur Leonidas wird nicht zu schnell zu hoch gehypt, erbringt alles für den Sport mit, gegen einen Brzenk in seiner besten Zeit wäre das Match wohl sehr einseitig.
Scoolboy hat sich verletzt... Hatte in der ersten Runde deutlich gezeigt, wo der Hammer hängt... Schoolboy gesund = Leonidas no chance...

A young prime John Brzenk would probably eaily win against Leonidas as he has won against Denis Cyplenkow. Today I fear that John has no chance against the extrem powerful and skilled Leonidas Arkona who won easily against Larry Wheels and won against Schoolboy. Leonidas has a good trainer and teacher so he is not only extrem powerfull monster but already knows how to use his extrem power and he is not even half the age of John.
Some of you forget that current john ,almost beat ,kydyrgali,ziraqashvili, and he actually beat petrenko ,while leonidas just barely beat schoolboy ... No disrespect to arkona he is a beast but he has a long way to go to match john ,even at 60 years of age ...my predictio .3-0 john wins.
Current John Brzenk hasn't even trained the last 6 months or so since his last match. He is probably much weaker than he was against Petrenko or Ongarbaev.

I just heard Leo has a 110kg grip strength. John has to have improved cup and majorly healed up shoulder to win imo.
I don't know this "John", but it seems like comparing Ali (after his career) and Tyson at his beginning. Of course no gurantee, that Leon will be one of the best, but he's young and still new.
John is definately the GOAT, but Leonidas will definately win. His strength and endurance is far above. His technique will get better and better. Everybody thought schoolboy will beat him and he showed us all wrong.

Saying someone who isn't even a professional armwrestler will definitely win against John Brzenk is simply crazy talk. Not even against world class pullers of his own weight class can John be counted out. I expect John will take his hand and unless Leonidas has a flop press, he's gonna struggle to pin him.

John is a Legend and Tecnical a 10 in the Sport but Leo is a Monster in Strengh i think its interesting tecnic vs strengh on the highest Level
Rooting for John but not so sure he can win.. he’s far out of his prime and has seemed to be on a decline the last year or so of his matches.. will be interesting though..

Now everyone gonna tell again how prime Brzenk of the year 20XX in May the 3rd on a Saturday morning at 9:30AM would easily beat the Leonidas of the year 20XX in August before he injected a new roid cycle on Wednesday at 7:25 AM which transformed him into a Super-Saiyajin making him easily able to kill the Brzenks between 1998 and 1999 but ultimately fail against the Brezenk of 2001.

Puré experience, the goat is armwrestling since almost 50 years against puré Power. The Thing is : I See andvantage for John but the same i thought before the Match against Larry and especially Schoolboy. The gap is getting closer each Day. Cause leo is gaining experience and John is losing strength year for year. Howsoever, this would be very interesting Match and the winner would be the spectators.
