- Fran learns that her new beau Tony is a mobster! She decides she has to end it, but she'll have to be careful!
From Season 3 Episode 13 ‘An Offer She Can't Refuse’. Grace and her new friend Frankie play violin together, and when Fran meets Frankie's handsome, rich father, Tony Tattori, the two are mutually attracted and begin dating. However, Fran eventually realizes that Tony is a mobster, and realizes that she must break-up with him-but worries that if she does, she'll be "rubbed out".

@@stevencombs8093 it's a Godfather reference. I belive Fredo pissed off the mob somehow, and to teach him a lesson they cut the head of his favorite race horse and put it in his bed to teach him a lesson.

My whole childhood has been a lie.
Yeah, originally in the American version they wanted her to be Italian but Fran the actress wanted her character to be Jewish because she’s actually Jewish so they changed it! But in Italy apparently they didn’t allow it, which is a shame. Her “aunt” in the Italian version actually plays her mother.
