I luv that groups nowadays can go venture out and do their own thing.. as oppose to back then, when groups were always breaking up. It’s great to see. Even listening to Brittany’s new record, u hear elements of that Alabama Shakes sound. It’s just now solely thru her lens. I look forward to what they all do.

I know im 3yrs late to this interview but idk...I always thought of them as Blues with a little Funk & Rock twist. Like Gary Clark Jr....his sound was Bluesy to me, too. I know they use to say thats all Rock is - Blues sped up. Whatever they wanna call, its Dope!

I learned about her from the Rick Rubin podcast a while back. And I really enjoyed her album so once I seen that she had a Breakfast Club interview you know I had to watch it. And I'm rarely watching Breakfast Club interviews now. So that says a lot.
