to the girl with the messy spouse: try get him involved in the cleaning eg if you're sorting out the cupboards etc try asking him like oh do u need this oh where do you think this should go etc and once it's all done and you feel satisfied he'll feel the same which will make him appreciate the tidyness more. might not work at first for long but if you keep doing it and include him in it it'll become second nature to him. also Brittany I love the little edits with the blue squares and all was so cute haha
That was the best ending! These videos are so great, I always share them with the husband, and we both can learn from them! Divide and conquer is definitely the very best strategy, and picking up the slack when someone is unable or there’s too much to tackle on their own is always a great plan!

Hi Brittany !! Thanks for your tips ..as for the space saver bags ,I use them a lot and it’s been really a saver for me . But a good tip preventing them being bulky is trying to fold properly and push the clothes down while you’re getting the air out so it can be stored beautifully!

You reminded me of a system my mom had for us kids growing up!! We had one basket at the bottom of the stairs that if something was lying around the house you threw it in there and then once week we'd take it upstairs and divide the stuff between our rooms. I never saw the genius of it till now!!
I do love these organization videos and tips and tricks. Haha to the last part :)) I do the majority of the housework because I now work from home and just have more free time. But - my husband and me do share some tasks like he cooks 1-2x per week, brings out the trash, washes the dishes whenever I do not feel like doing it, sometimes he vacuums and also he helps me clean the bathtub and shower which is something I am not super effective at and get back pain from. Another tip I have for women out there is to buy clear fabric w. plastic handbag organizers (vertical, they fit like 8-10 purses each at least), vertical shoe organizers or jewelry organizers which you can hang in your closet or on the back of some less used door. They really help free some space in our 1-bed apartment.
Amazing Ideals! I‘m studying and realized that when you only have one room to fit all of your stuff you absolutely HAVE to be organized. At least I have to because I hate cleaning and tidying up but love a clean environment 😍

Instead of folding your coats and jackets in the compressed bag, lay them as flat as you can so you get a nicely flat squared bag that you can store in a suitcase or underbed box in a better shape

You have no idea how many times he has said i cant find....lmao

The small bathroom around 4:00. A pedestal sink organizer would work well too. It's a little cabinet that sort of wraps around the base of the sink. Good for cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc.

What great tips! As far as the last question about dealing with a messy partner, it might be valuable to know which of gretchen Rubin's four tendencies they are. For rebel tendencies like me, you have to frame it with consequences (like we cant have guests over, etc) and as it being their choice rather than telling them they have to clean up to avoid resistance. That's only rebels though. Other tendencies see things differently
I have one of those Amazon clear window-fabric bags. I have two queen size comforters, several sheet sets, and a million pillow cases. It holds so much!
If you put the tea bags up, down, up, down, etc, you can fit a lot more in the holders. My mom had a new trash can she bought for her out of season clothes. It held a lot and was relatively sealed.
In answer to the problem of other people in your home not following your system: I would heartily recommend checking out Clutterbug's theory of different organising styles (here on youtube)! Personally, it's helped me a lot to understand some of the reasons why it can be hard for different types of people to cohabitate. Brittany's advice will probably work for everyone, though! Sorry for plugging a different youtuber :D
Yes. I follow her as well & her different styles are spot on. My hubby is the opposite style as me. I like to see my things & he wants it to be unseen & perfectly organized.

I store all of my teas in a hanging jewelry organizer on my kitchen door. Very good use of space and you can see every flavor at once.
