Im curious. If I wanna make this as a hot pad, dishcloth, or placemat, what edging stitch would you recommend to make a border edge on it to help keep the curl away?
I would do a reverse stitch edging as i think it is one of the best anti-curling stitches as well as complements the simple stitch really well and this sort of looks like the simple stitch.
It's interesting, so this is used primarily for making thicker fabric? I look at it and it looks just about like all simple even though it isn't. I'll have to make a swatch and see how it feels. Thank you again for another interesting tutorial. it seems "running" stitch may make the work go a bit faster... is that the intention or the result? ty :)
Thank you 👍 got to get some cotton yarn
Very nice. Thank you for being so thorough. ❤
You are very welcome.
Hi Michael, ok so I'm trying this right now and will share once I'm done. Thank you so much.
Hi sweetie and wow you really did jump into it today. Cannot wait.

@mdlcrochet Thanks Michael 🧡🧡💙
Don't see how the pattern doesn't narrow out into a gathered triangle .
I need to watch this again .

You're welcome! It does make the work go faster and it's more dense. Great for wash cloths and hot pads.
@@mdlcrochet good to know I was thinking about making some, maybe some place mats too. Thank you.
Awesome ! Can’t wait to get my needles. Ty Michael 💙💙
