KRISTINA, aka ‘The Rainbow Lady’, is stripping away her bright colours and transforming into the total opposite - a goth. Kristina, 26, is well known for her striking aesthetic, amassing over a million followers on TikTok. Kristina transformed herself into a “human rainbow” to overcome severe depression after moving to America from Singapore over 10 years ago. She now lives in Arizona with her son, Enzo, and wanted to express herself in a unique rainbow way to inspire him to be whoever he wants to be. Now, she’s surprising him with a totally different look and is finding her inner goth. “I don’t ever wear black,” Kristina said. “I’ve been wearing this rainbow look for many years now, so even thinking of myself with black hair is interesting.”

Yeah, although for once I'm glad they didn't just do the basic girly look like they do for every single other one of these makeovers, i always feel like they're dumbing down what made them special to give them a more "normal" look

This is kind of my style haha. I might be in all black today, but then tomorrow I'll be in all pink with strawberry earrings and a daisy chain necklace lol. Sometimes I do mix the styles together on the same day though. It's fun 😁🌈🖤🍓

Honestly love that she's a mom, a lot of the time people expect you to be more conforming once you get a child (especially since bright colors and overall decora are often considered childish), but the fact she actually started with her style after having her son is really empowering.

@@ot9twicee117 I think it's more so that a lot of people tend to feel like they lose themselves for a while after having children bc taking care of a baby/child takes sooo much time it doesn't often leave a whole lot of time to focus on individual style esp when it comes to very creative and involved aesthetics. Some people do feel like parents have to dress more "grown up" but I doubt that's why it's surprising to most to see someone dress like this as a mother

Now that’s a good friend! She didn’t cackle and point, she stated the obvious…that she was still gorgeous and that her personality and light was shining through. Normally on these shows they’re laughing at the person that gets the transformation, putting down the new look, being rude. While the new look is supposed to be shocking to a certain extent and a lot of the clothing that is chosen is below par but friends are supposed to build other friends up regardless!
