When passing by Raleigh on 95, I got a chance to stop by Juniper Level BG. It lived up to the hype, and their Edgeworthia Chrysantha was stunning, looked and smelled amazing. Also stopped by Stephenson’s BBQ, where their pork also lived up to the hype.
Lovely Flowers ^~^

My friend, thank you for good sharing 😊
I saw one of these at the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, took pic and it looks like lights, this is a beautiful plant!
It's like you knew I just bought one from Juniper Level 😃. This has been on my wishlist for some time now, and I'm so excited, and this video has given me some siting ideas.
I now have 3 Edgeworthia in my landscape after discovering them at Gibbs’ Gardens. The young buds remind me of silver holiday ornaments on a Christmas tree and the anticipation of the full flowers blooming never gets old. The deer have left these alone, so far. Knock wood. 🌸🐝
Our cuttings from last year are rooted well. Up-potted them in the last few weeks. Excited for them to grow enough to be put in our landscape!
What fascinating structure! I particularly liked the “Wilting Dance Demo” ;-)
Wow, beautiful! I really love this channel!!
I smelled my first Edgeworthia at Pine Knot Farms this year. It has a heavenly fragrance. I am trying to root a stem from a friend. Wish me luck. Zone7B-Franklinton, NC. I enjoy your videos.
It's on the list! Love their buttermilk hued blooms.
Hi ,it is awonderful plant . You can plant also the red one near or opposite the yellow .
I will get from this beautiful edgeworthia . Have anice day .
Hi, I never knew this plant but after watching your video, I ordered one immediately. I am in 7B New York and site I plan to plant gets morning filtered sun and then afternoon sun for some hours so I think should be okay. I am so excited. Thank you for the information. It's a beautiful specimen.
What an interesting shrub! I may have to look into getting one!
Thank you Jim.❄️💚🙃
The minute I saw this shrub going through my mind is I bet I can’t grow this one. But maybe I’m going to try! ❄️💚🙃 if I could keep it rather small I may be able to plant it in a container and move it into an unheated porch thru the winter months…❄️💚🙃
I think it is more hardy than listed. I am in zone 6a (formerly 5b) in Indiana near the Michigan border and I have 2 in my garden for the past 4 years and they are doing well. It usually blooms in early April here.
What is your winter temperature and what is your summer temperature?
Does your adworker grow in sun or shade?
How did she snuggle up? Growing?
Could you try to propagate more Edgeworthia from those water sprouts at the base of the plant?
Sooo. I purchased an edgeworthia seedling back in spring. Planted outside, it has grown to about a foot in length. I’m wondering, if it will branch on its own or do you think I should start clipping it? Much thanks.
Great video!
🇺🇦 Greetings from Ukraine!
Please tell me.
1. In what month do the leaves appear?
In what month do the leaves begin to actively grow?
2. What soil composition is needed?
3. How acidic should the soil be [PH]?
4. Can Edgeworthia goldenflower grow in full sun?
[zone around 6b, Central Ukraine; The average temperature is from -20°C to plus 25...35°C]
I had one of these at my old house. It did fine with morning sun and afternoon shade. One tough winter it died to the ground, but then grew back. Just planted one last fall at the current place. The buds are just starting to switch to flowers, so it will be a couple weeks yet. Zone 6b.
Will it die in full sun?
Jim,
Is there a reason this is called Paperbush--perhaps it is/was used for paper making?
Thank you. 😊
Where can I find this plant
Actually it's related to Daphne's, similar care and fragrance!
sadly, 2 of them didn't survive in my north texas garden.
