Nice shot sequences. One thing of note: if you are shooting with a camera that allows you to mess with exposure, white balance and iso, then practice with those settings and maybe even consider using external lighting. A decent amount of your video was very dark.
Great video. It has been now some months since you did the lift, would you do it again? Did you notice any changes in your cars driving? Any “wobbling “ at low speed?
Absolutely I would do it again, but definitely not on my own. Car drives just as it should, I would hope there isn't much of a difference with only an inch. No wobbles.
Just curious had any CV issues or issues in general, looking at doing this on my 2020 I wanted the 1.5 in vy adf but they told me above 1in i would need the multilink spacers as well?
Your suspension is definitely a lot different than mine, so you probably will need those. ADF would know better than I would. No CV issues, but I can get up to 3” for what I understand before needing to do subframe spacers.
@@echols2010 honestly a 1” should be plenty. That will put you higher than the wilderness edition. The newer gens are higher than the old, so my lift kit didn’t even get me the same amount of clearance as yours stock.
What tire setup are you running. What’s the biggest you can run.. I want to do the same with a 215/65/16 wheels from a wrx bug eye . I have a set of crosstek 18 inch wheels can I run them With a 225/55/18. I’m running them right now with a 225/40/18 I’m slammed (Wrx Struts) but wanted to keep the wheels .. I was thinking a 1inch left kit and my stock suspension ..
Right now I am running the stock 16s with a 215/75/16 tire. They rub on full lock, but are fine otherwise. Not sure if the crosstrek rims with a big tire will work without cutting.
With a 1" you should be okay, but I would recommend trailing arm spacers. I did install 1" trailing arm spacers later. If I hadn't, my current tires would not have fit. Anderson Design Fab would have more info on it.
Thanks for the video! I just got my ADF 2" kit with the multi link spacers for my '13 STI hatch. I'm excited to install them.

Thank you for your quick response. Will lift my Subi too.

@@TheCreateOutdoors Ya that's why I'm unfortunately not going to do the 1.5 and stick with the 1in but waiting on response from ADF

@@TheCreateOutdoors very true 8.7" stock is nice a 1" lift then a size up from stock tires should have around 10-10.2" of ground clearance
@@echols2010 Correct. I'm at about 11" of ground clearance with a 2.5" lift and tires.
Been waiting for you to upload. Please upload more
Today! Just might not be at Noon...
I have such a car in Russia. American car. Rare now, among bears with a balalaika.
They are fantastic machines!
It's called the brain Subaru. 😂

No trailing arm spacer installed
Will it cause other problems?

"I can't get the struts in"
"Just bring it into the shop"
"Okay yeah I'll be right over"
When I had them take off my rear top hats, they were a little confused at my request haha. They didn't realize I had my coilovers in still.
Good video. Did you have to get an alignment after the lift? Thanks.
Yes! Especially doing it at their shop it was part of the procedure.
@@TheCreateOutdoors
Thank you.
@@TheCreateOutdoors Could you tell me what kind of alignment should it be done, thanks. Wheel alignment or other knids of alignment?
@@jackzhang2820 wheel alignment. Didn’t think there were other alignments
Why only 1” inch?
As much as I love the 2", it seriously lowers your gas mileage. Since its my daily 1" will do. I can still do a lot with it as well.
OK Create was it hard to get it aligned after the 1” ?
Nope, they did it there. I have rear camber bolts on the way as the rears have some positive camber as a result.
get a basket on roof and tires mud and snow
