Same!! I use N1 and it’s a little too dark but I can get away with it. However I told MAC I’m VERY pink undertoned and they recommended N0. That’s confusing as I would assume N would be more yellow 🤷♀️ I asked them why and they haven’t replied

I was used to applying foundation with a sponge but with MAC F&B it is the best to use your hands! When I realized how to apply it, I fell in love. This is absolutely beautiful, evens out complexion without clinging to dry patches and it never looks cakey! Also, my skin is very sensitive and it doesn't breake me out. I love this stuff!
I just got a 4oz Face & Body for $33 on Mac site. I saw this but I decided to wait until you tried it, it's been 3 days and it's so weird you tested it!!! Thank You ❤❤💋💋💋
Mac Face and Body is hands down the best foundation I have ever used and now, it’s basically the only thing I have used for the past 2 years. I will definitely be trying the Radiance foundation.
Been trolling around your posts looking for foundations.. ran across this one. This was on sale at Ulta for 20.00 so I ordered it. It's wonderful stuff. I am 60, dry skin, rosacea and not a lot of wrinkles. Put it on with fingers.. nice light coverage.. evened everything out. Was able to build it up on the 50 cent piece sized rosacea redness on my cheeks with no caking!! If I look in a 10X mirror, I can see a few places I need to exfoliate... that stuff is coming soon from Paula's choice. C1 was perfect color match
@@Tee-py2uo I use this still from time to time. If you dont have really bad redness, this might work well for you. @@ItsHeidiHope I’m a NW10 in the other Mac foundations. C1 was weird on me. It’s actually more olive than what the name says. N1 was orange on me. So I tried W1 and it was perfect, it’s actually the cool tone.

It’s the SAME thing ! It’s a rebranding ploy to catch the people who buy foundation in 50 ml bottles instead of the more cost effective 120 ml bottle - don’t be duped !
Can't see your pores??? I.must try this. Your skin looks lovely! I see you always apply foundation under your eyes. Whenever I do that it drys out my undereyes skin even more. I think i.must have the driest skin under my eyes, even the recommended Welleda (spelling?) Thanks for another great review!
Love the Face and Body. Always buy the 120 ml and that is so affordable. I try a lot of different foundation but in the end I always go back to Face & Body🙂 I’m 55 and even if it wears of a bit during the day it looks so good on my skin that it doesn’t matter.
Shelly I tried the Dior Glow and I was blown away! My dry skin was smoothed and radiant and flakes were literally hidden, similar to my other fav Mac F&B. So now these are my 2 HG, (nothing else comes close)- thanks to u Shelly!!! 🥰 Since this new one is so similar to F&B I’m only going to get this bc of the shades as F&B N1 is half a shade too dark, so hopefully W0 will be good for my pink undertones:) Was so happy for ur review & how beautiful it looked on ur skin yay!!

Omg I also got the Wayne Goss bronzer+contour and blush in bright poppy and I loveeee it. Just got Dior Face and Body based on your rating sheet and I’m so excited to try it. Please make the pat dupe video!
I picked up a sample of this foundation from Nordstrom a few days ago! Super excited to try it out! I am in my late 30’s with dry acne prone skin. Hopefully this will be a great foundation to couple with my SPF! I’ll definitely update on my blog / IG!
You might want to consider testing new foundations without that Good Molecules moisturizing primer, because in my experience that thing is pretty darn good at smoothing out foundations. I have felt significant difference when I use my EL Double wear foundation with and without it.
Unfortunately most foundations won't work at all without primer on me, so they'd all fail (which would get boring fast!) 😂 This GM primer has been my main foundation review primer pretty much since it launched last year and I have had lots of failures with it, so I'm confident that the true nature of a foundation will reveal itself even with this primer :)
Hi CP! I usually do not set my foundations anymore, but when I do I use either the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish or the new Jones Road tinted face powder. I didn't use powder to set this one.
Thanks for another excellent review! I have wanted to try the face and body for so long, but I just can’t figure out what color to get. I am very fair and a true neutral,. I really need to get matched in the store, but I don’t think they’re doing any samples or testing still in the stores, so I guess I’ll have to wait.
Picking up one tomorrow- I have a HUGE collection of foundations and believe it or not this will be my first MAC foundation- I’m so confused about the undertones! I absolutely love how the foundation looks on you!!!
Your skin looks so nice with that foundation. Does that one dry down or stay tacky? The eye shadow is very pretty. Yes, please do the side by side with the shadows.
It dries down nicely! I haven't worn this one yet under a mask but the original Face & Body is one of the only foundations that can hold up under a mask on me without transferring a ton.
@@goow thanks! It makes it very hard for me to find a vitamin c product. Almost all vitamin c products have orange oil. But not many foundations that’s what threw me for a loop!
I have been very interested in this foundation. When you swatch it and wear it I defiantly see the peachy tint. A very good match for me is the Meesha and Purrito BB Creams in shade 21. The grey cast blends into my very pink undertone. I really wish we could buy samples!!
That shade 21 in the Missha and Purito are my best matches too (very similar to the discontinued CYO 101). I love those gray undertones!! They're so hard to find.
Just coming back to this video and I ended up with W1/W2 in the new shades. Soooo much better than settling for the C1 which made me looks jaundice lol
That looks beautiful Shelly! 😻 but they’re not cruelty free so it’s a no go for me :( come on MAC!!!! Beautiful eye look!!! Would love to see the comparison!
I dampen my sponges then towel-wring out as much water as I can (mainly because I don't want the sponge to soak up product, but also because the sponges pounce better on me when they're damp). :)
Wow! This looks so beautiful and flattering on you💜 P.S. I have to thank you for recommending the Kerasal foot ointment! I’ve been neglecting my feet for months. After two uses my feet are literally GLOWING Shelly! I’m blown away🤩 Thank you so much. Also, the Flower Beauty setting powder is stunning!! It’s like a magic eraser for my face! I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to try it;)
I would probably go Purito because I love cica as an ingredient and they're cruelty free but I love them equally well if we're looking at straight wear and performance - and MAC has a tiny bit of an edge in longevity of wear I'd say.
Hi Shelley - ok ok ok I'll brave the Mac counter (which has always had hideous customer service if you're not a super trendy teenager) and try to get shade matched. I think perhaps W0 might be my shade, but as Scotland is finally easing the restrictions a little I'll go to counter in the next couple of weeks. The N1 and N2 are quite dark, so I will definitely need shade matched as I have my doubts any of them will be light enough. i've never bought a Mac foundation, due to the terrible customer service and confusing shade range. I'm extremely pale and have a lot of difficulty getting a light enough shade from the majority of brands, so buying online is a complete no for me for base products. I've had to wait for complete lockdown to end (it's been since 26 December 2020 this time around) so only food shops or pharmacies etc have been open, but "non essential" shops are reopening finally over the next week or so. I'm going to get the train to Edinburgh before they close them all again, as I have a little saved to get some new makeup. I haven't worn foundation in almost a year and need a new one for being out and about again. I like the finish of this one and the longevity without dryness. as I have dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I'll let you know how I get on. Best wishes.
Super random and unrelated to this but we have the same skin type and undereyes and everything and I recently found something you MUST try if you never have. I’m not sure if you tested this but the makeup forever self setting concealer is right up your alley. My fine lines are a thing of the past
Super smooth and everything looks great! Would love to see and side by side eyeshadow look! :) I'm a big fan of the Maybelline Lifter Gloss too! Nice amount of pigment and shine without that awful feathering that most lip glosses are guilty of.
I don't really use any of their other makeup (haven't tried anything besides foundations and the paint pot) but the foundations and paint pot are holy grails for me so I don't know why I don't try more!
Which do you like more, MAC radiance face and body or NARS Light Reflecting Foundation? Thank you 😊 (BTW, this is Adrienne. I have been binging on your foundation fest!)
Hey Adrienne!!!! I love them both - for straight up appearance, I'd say I like the Nars more, but when I know I'm going up against challenging conditions like I know I'll be sweating or might get caught in the rain or something, I go with the MAC because it holds up phenomenally well - way better than average.
I need to try this 😯 I don’t understand MAC’s lettering system though. I’m fair, cool toned but the C0 says golden undertones and W0 says peachy undertones 🤔🤔
This is always a fun one to answer because somewhere along the line, a makeup artist will come and say MAC's naming is "the right way" and all other companies are wrong 😂 I won't say either approach is wrong or right, but MAC is the opposite of what many other companies do. So where you would buy a "cool" shade from another company, you will want the W line in MAC. (I wear NW15 most of the year, or N2 in the face & body lines - I am neutral leaning slightly cool).
It seems as if they're just updating the branding and the shade selection, as the ingredient list is almost identical (same ingredients but 1 ingredient position is flip-flopped with the ingredient next to it).
Thanks, Dee! I hope Italy is treating you well! A friend of mine spends his summers in Urbino and I always say I need to visit sometime. It looks beautiful!
Hey Girl, I think this is the first time that I've disagreed with you on a foundation. I love the original formulation & wear it all the time, but have heard alarmingly that MAC is discontinuing the original in favor of this new radiant formula. I think the radiant formula has a tendency to look very sweaty unless powdered heavily (I'm 51 & lots of powder makes me look like the Crypt Keeper) & I think it also emphasizes texture & lines. The original has better coverage, is more buildable, is better at texture & line smoothing & can be worn without powder if desired & still offers some natural looking radiance. I hope so so much that MAC doesn't give the original the ax & if you know any MAC insiders, please find out for us & post that on your magnificent website. I do think it looks lovely on you & I'm glad you are enjoying it, but I find radiant foundations in general emphasize my wrinkles & make my skin look dry even when the formulations are hydrating. Thanks for another great video! 😁💗
Hi Debbie! My favorites are the Good Molecules Silicone Free Moisturizing Primer, the StriVectin Line BlurFector, Tatcha Silk Canvas (Elf putty primer works similarly on me too), and the entire CoverGirl TruBlend Base Business line of primers.
@@debbiejacobs2882 I think the new one is mostly a rebranding and shade expansion of the original - so I'd probably go with the new one just to have access to more shades (I'm not sure if the original will be discontinued or not). They've practically identical in how they wear. I feel like the new one is a little more dewy but that could also be my mind playing tricks on me. The ingredient list is almost identical with one ingredient's position flip flopped in the new one.
Do you have a favourite foundation? I haven't found my holy grail yet, I'm looking for something fuller coverage than this (rosacea ahoy) for dry skin that won't crease into all my fine lines. You have really lovely skin, btw!

I agree! To me long wearing is minimum double-digits, preferably 12+.

It dries down nicely! I haven't worn this one yet under a mask but the original Face & Body is one of the only foundations that can hold up under a mask on me without transferring a ton.
I kind of want to run out and get this now!! This looks lovely!
Thanks so much for telling the oils in the product! I’m allergic to orange oil so you saved me from possible hives! Again thanks!
Yikes I'm glad you're able to avoid it!! I will definitely try to keep on calling them out when I see them in ingredients!
Thanks for the upload 🌞 hoping it’s a good match for me x
Just coming back to this video and I ended up with W1/W2 in the new shades. Soooo much better than settling for the C1 which made me looks jaundice lol
Hi Shelly! Would love to see the Alter Ego Luster Palette against the original ASAP!!! 👍🏻
That looks beautiful Shelly! 😻 but they’re not cruelty free so it’s a no go for me :( come on MAC!!!! Beautiful eye look!!! Would love to see the comparison!
Damn. I’m going to have to buy this foundation.
Really inspired by your videos. So when you apply the foundation do you use a dry or wet sponge for the best results? Thank you xx
I dampen my sponges then towel-wring out as much water as I can (mainly because I don't want the sponge to soak up product, but also because the sponges pounce better on me when they're damp). :)
Wow! This looks so beautiful and flattering on you💜
P.S. I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to try it;)
I have never tried a Mac foundation but it sounds like I should give this one a try 😁 Thanks for the review 👍❤️
Same! I've always wanted to try one just to know my shade since everyone references that brand
so if you had to pick ...Mac Studio or Purito CICA BB ???
Here's hoping you have a fantastic counter experience!! I've had good luck at the MAC store in Dublin but that is a bit of a trek for you :)
@@goow It's not exactly down the road, as it involves a flight etc and is a completely different country lol. x
I’d love a side by side alter ego comparison
Nice! Love the original & more shades? Wonderful 😁
Super random and unrelated to this but we have the same skin type and undereyes and everything and I recently found something you MUST try if you never have. I’m not sure if you tested this but the makeup forever self setting concealer is right up your alley. My fine lines are a thing of the past
Ooooh I have not tried it and I will because I love their foundations! Thanks, Alexa!
Love your reviews, as always ❤
Super smooth and everything looks great! Would love to see and side by side eyeshadow look! :) I'm a big fan of the Maybelline Lifter Gloss too! Nice amount of pigment and shine without that awful feathering that most lip glosses are guilty of.
You really look great. Thanks for the upload.greetings
You look pretty I’m gonna try it
No idea why I always forget about MAC. It's sooo darn good at times 😃
I don't really use any of their other makeup (haven't tried anything besides foundations and the paint pot) but the foundations and paint pot are holy grails for me so I don't know why I don't try more!
Pretty look, good color match....
Just a note: wood and orange oils are fragrance
I love this foundation ❤️
Would love a comparison between this one and the original side by side
It seems as if they're just updating the branding and the shade selection, as the ingredient list is almost identical (same ingredients but 1 ingredient position is flip-flopped with the ingredient next to it).
i love your videos, the colour of your skin is similar to mine so I can take lots of tips. love from Italy
Thanks, Dee! I hope Italy is treating you well! A friend of mine spends his summers in Urbino and I always say I need to visit sometime. It looks beautiful!
@@goow yes come and visit italy, by the way I am italian
I need a primer video please 🙏
Well, yeah. It has sheer in the name so I guess that means less coverage. I'd like the original. It's been on my to get
list for a while.
Great video, would you be able to recommend any other primers apart from the one you used?
Hi Debbie! My favorites are the Good Molecules Silicone Free Moisturizing Primer, the StriVectin Line BlurFector, Tatcha Silk Canvas (Elf putty primer works similarly on me too), and the entire CoverGirl TruBlend Base Business line of primers.
@@goow thank you so much, trying to decide between ordering this one and the original. If you had to choose which do you prefer, I’m also in my 40s!
You look super pretty x
I’d love to see a side by side with luster and divine rose!
Do you have a favourite foundation? I haven't found my holy grail yet, I'm looking for something fuller coverage than this (rosacea ahoy) for dry skin that won't crease into all my fine lines. You have really lovely skin, btw!
Hi Erin! Anything that ranks an A- or higher in my spreadsheet is a favorite! (I have over 200 so there are a good dozen plus that are favorites lol) - geekoutofwater.com/foundation-fest/
@@goow Oh my gosh, that is amazingly helpful and brilliant. Thank you so much!!
Yes!! To the side by side!
