There are NO automatic bans or tracking done in the game, so they can get away with it until a friend notifies them or something finally rings as suspicious. Also yeah, if you hear anything of “don’t do this your acc will get banned”, it’s entirely false and they’re trying to scare you into something
I haven’t played for years so I decided to start fresh on pc but I didn’t make any friends until Eden, up until then I was either ignored or people ran off right after helping with two player doors and such :(
Man, I’m still looking forward to Cinnamoroll but they made it SO unbalanced with the IAP items. Like I understand having the cape and anything with his actual visage on it as IAP but I feel like the hair and bow tie could’ve been free and then just make the cape and ears a bundle or something. Idk I feel like that would’ve made a lot more sense but maybe doing a Sanrio collab at all is expensive for them bc of copyright stuff. 😢
Sanrio is known to be expensive and also strict with their stuff. On the bright side - we're getting a pretty nice free table with tea and buns, and in any other circumstance it would be a 20$ IAP, so maybe it's not that bad of a deal
All i just don't like is that they changed the fact that you dont get hearts after a certain amount of likes anymore. Hearts are so hard to come by. Players are more willing to just click a button than share a heart with a random stranger. Please i have told tgc this is a bad idea but i think they're not going to listen. Give me one good reason why that was changed?
I have been saying the same thing when it first came to beta but all i got back from other players is “there will always be people who would be nice and send a few” but bruh sometimes i cant even make my friends to trade hearts not to say to just give it away to strangers xd its so frustrating

I'm a Light Awaits Moth and even for me the prices looks terribly insane, even if the furniture are meant to stay forever, 45 hearts for a bathtub is way too much, I really feel sorry for Moths and also for Sky kids who struggle so much with constellations AND traveling spirits... TGC needs to lower these prices, I would put that bathtub maybe 50 candles maximum, not more
The thing about the pricing, if the items are permanently available, why aren't they priced more in line with the regular constellation spirits' ones? Those are around 10-30 candles apiece apart from the very last ones. Also, why just why did they remove the likes-for-hearts feature?! Why couldn't the two coexist together? My personal favorite would be unifying the likes with the light-your-friends feature
But they also have some absurdly priced items for hearts. I have been playing for a while but I still have not been able to get more than one constellation completed because of the amount of hearts it takes. Candles, though honestly sparse themselves all things considered, are still easier to collect to be able to unlock the constellations. Hearts are like trying to find a real unicorn who can give you the winning numbers for a lottery.

I saw someone mention that they think there will always be nice people to give out hearts (to message boats). Ok. Sure. But there isn't 1 nice person to 1 boat/candle message. it's more like 1 to 100. How is that fair?? The likes were free, but giving out a heart costs three whole candles. Now more people are going to be begging othere for their hard earned candles.
@@Snow-wv2sf the begging started before this horrible feature went live. They also screwed us when they took away the recharge ability on memories that did the deep calls. People think tgc listen to us when we have complaints etc, but what they don't realise is that tgc is doing opposite of what ppl are asking and/or using it against us by pricing ppl out of things because they can't afford it (whether it's real money or candles/hearts). So yeah, they're listening but not in the way people think.
So many problems have been addressed in this comment section. 1) Prices of furnitures and the items from nesting challenge are ridiculously high. -True. They are. But its not the first time we are seeing this. The elder masks are expensive too. But what we can do is, either get the SP and accumulate all wooden furnitures so that you can skip these high priced furnitures, or the sad part? Grind and grind and grind for them. Why? Coz TGC is not going to change it. 2) Cinnamoroll items are mostly IAP, and are expensive too. - Tbh, knowing TGC, I was expecting this. Imo, the IAP which is actually worth it and is value for money will be the plushie. Coz it has option to view decorated cafe, and you can still see cinnamoroll whenever u want and take photos with him. So if y'all wanna spend ur hard earned money on any thing, then I believe plushie would be a good choice. (And we all know that TGC makes expensive IAPs. I am not saying everyone is like that. But this concern is from most of the sky kids, and its legit. Atleast could have integrated both the features. But again, we can't do anything as TGC is not going to change it. So ultimately, we don't have any choice rather than accepting things as they are. It's ridiculous, but it is what it is.
I think I hate this new send a heart system. I can already see the huge wave of "Pls send heart" on every single shared spaces/memories, people begging and begging and faking to be a Moth only to get hearts, and it's terribly annoying. I would genuinely give strangers hearts, but only for those who doesn't ask for them AND create good content (Lovely music or cozy/funny shared spaces) Otherwise, I 100% agree with everything you just said ❤

Well, you don't have a choice because you accept it. If people just put up with all of these terrible decisions, it will continue. Companies change if a lot of people rebel against their terrible decisions. Like, even this year, tgc returned some Halloween items they didn't include at first, because a lot of players were angry at them. So don't tune players into an obedient silence. THIS will not change anything.

But do u see people rebelling in DC? They are instead happy, as they are getting more than one hearts from their shared memories. About furniture prices, all veterans are happy about it, that includes most of the sky community base. And IAP prices have never changed before. So some things can't be changed, only because majority of the community doesn't want it.
I love how the scinnamaroll hair accessories looks like little pigtails. So you essentislly have long hair with any hair style with those cute blue bows
Out of everything, I'm really excited about the cafe area. Sometimes i just find it awkward to whip out a table somewhere and just hope people would hang out but having a cafe area where you're meant to sit and chat is really nice.
I returned to playing again after a year of inactivity when the PC version got released and Journey was on sale so I was pretty excited, but when I saw the IAP prices, it almost made me wanna vomit in disbelief. A single hair tie is the cost of at least 2-3 indie games in steam and that Journey pack is a cost of at least one AAA game in steam. I’m just speechless but I guess I’ll save up for the Journey pack :V
Yeah but that in lies the problem. The prices are outrageous but we still buy the items and TGC knows it. The only way they would stop being so greedy is if everyone boycotted Sky for a while. Teach the devs to respect their players that keep their game relevant and in production instead of taking advantage of players want for cute or cool cosmetics. The company says you don’t need cosmetics to enjoy the game but its sort of hard to ignore them when your game’s gameplay is 4 hours MAX and the rest of the games content revolves around cosmetics and or special events and quests to get even MORE cosmetics (AKA social conditioning). Sky is an incredibly vain game. I’ve played for about 6 months but I’m looking to quit soon and or hack the game to get the all the cosmetics I want and just leave this pointless, vain, and repetitive game behind.
the furniture pricing combined with the new heart system is just criminal. its not like they gain anything from making hearts even harder to obtain since you cant buy them for cash if youre low. ill need to find someone for heart trades again and hope they dont just ghost me after they get their heart
I don’t mind spending the money for the cinnamon roll items but I’m sad both items I want are bundled with things I don’t want. Like I just want the cape and hair. Honestly the bowtie and hair should’ve been free, they are distinct enough that copy right cost shouldn’t matter.
So now it's official: they put a final stone at note hunting activities for liking notes to get hearts, without realizing how many players got helped by the groups running those activities. Plus, medi quest lost it's purpose and meaning: it was really rewarding to get a heart from a medi quest after the 10th like, and see it beating at your home shrine. Sad and unfortunate move, TGC...
@@The_Moth1 you need to "save" four statues for one ascended candle, and there's 63 in total so that's 15.75 candles 99÷15.75 is 6.285 so yes, seven weeks and you get 11.25 ac extra
@@rainbowstars4613 There's also red shard events, which will net you two or three on average, so that should help. 99 is definitely a lot of ascended candles, but on the other hand, what do we ever spend them on?
I already get sick of shared spaces in return-to-realm spots - right where you land and you tap them by mistake trying to warp a friend...it's really annoying when you're separated in the middle of candle run before a timed event... it doesn't make me want to leave a like... and definitely not donate 3 hard earned candles for warp-obstruction! I wish there was the option to leave a heart OR just a like for the spaces in other spots. I have a feeling some places are going to be overwhelmed
im glad my fixation on sky is dying because wow the prices of everything are getting ridiculous...I'll definitely be an f2p player now. i just wish they'd start going in a better direction with prices (especially igc ones) but it's just getting worse and worse..

I'm fine with furniture items being priced as they are. Generally, in games, furniture items for house minigames are MORE expensive than clothes, so about the same price doesn't bother me.
This season seems like the perfect time to take a break and recover from Sky burn-out, IMO. On the plus side, PC Moths won't miss out on epic seasonal gear while they try to figure out how daily quests work. Sky has been gorged with fantastic events for months, but I'm happy to take a break because I don't care about furniture. Am loving the candle event and all the new PC Moths, though.
oh wow. the hair and the ears, which are the signature aspects of cinnamonroll, the idol of this collab event, are iap. wow. i knew they were greedy, unreasonable, and don't care enough to even hide it but my god. they really don't want their players to have ANYTHING unless we do a days of mischief 2022 again. 2 igc items out of WHOLE 8 NEW ITEMS for this event is actual insanity. wtf. and the two igc items in question don't even look interlinked to the event theme, choosing them to be igc is already stupid in itself. and i could go on and on about the pricing for these cosmetics, but id rather save myself the time and just conclude for the 6th time this month, theyre greedy. really greedy, and stupid. and sorry to say, so is some of their playerbase.. they just cant stop eating it up and defending them every time because there's always players like those somehow.
For the 99 ascended candle mannequin Theres about 63 statues in the eye of eden, saving four statues gives you one ac, a perfect run can get you 15.75. 99÷15.75 is 6.285 (or 7 weeks) which will get you 110.25 ascended candles, and you get 11.25 ac extra. The prop is still expensive tho ;-;

Its kinda funny seeing people get angry at high prices now but back when I was in this community people would tell me the customization and outfits aren't a major part of the experience as if anyone plays the same repeating maps almost everyday solely for the exploration and not to collect candles for items

I got the Journey pack when Sky dropped for PS. I also got the cube and I don’t even own a pc. 😂 I informed a friend and had him sign into a steam account I made years ago. After I linked it to Sky he bought the cube using my account. He said he might buy me the hair/ears accessory or the head plushie, or both. We’ll see. I like the hair and ears more. I’m not a fan of the cape so I’m glad there. I like the chat table and it’ll be the first cute one I get. I have the Christmas and Halloween one but the bun one is the cutest. As for the furniture, I’d be more interested in the items if we can use them like any other prop in the worlds. Otherwise I have no interest in any shared space stuff.

What do you mean? I got the cube on steam and have it on my Switch and mobile. I don’t even own a PC. I had a friend log into my steam account which I linked to my main Sky account and he bought it for me through Sky. If you buy it for your Sky account you should have it on all platforms that your account is on. Unless you mean you can’t use your main account on a certain platform. I’m a bit confused tbh.

@@alaya6742 Kind of ironic and predatory of TGC to promote sky to be a game about love and friendships and to be kid friendly, only to capitalize and overprice their items. The company says you don’t need cosmetics to enjoy the game but its sort of hard to ignore them when your game’s gameplay is 4 hours MAX and the rest of the games content revolves around cosmetics and or special events and quests to get even MORE cosmetics (AKA social conditioning). Sky is an incredibly vain game.
I’ve played for about 6 months but I’m looking to quit soon and or hack the game to get the all the cosmetics I want and just leave this pointless, vain, and repetitive game behind.

I don’t mind spending the money for the cinnamon roll items but I’m sad both items I want are bundled with things I don’t want. Like I just want the cape and hair. Honestly the bowtie and hair should’ve been free, they are distinct enough that copy right cost shouldn’t matter.
So now it's official: they put a final stone at note hunting activities for liking notes to get hearts, without realizing how many players got helped by the groups running those activities.
Plus, medi quest lost it's purpose and meaning: it was really rewarding to get a heart from a medi quest after the 10th like, and see it beating at your home shrine.

I already get sick of shared spaces in return-to-realm spots - right where you land and you tap them by mistake trying to warp a friend...it's really annoying when you're separated in the middle of candle run before a timed event... it doesn't make me want to leave a like... and definitely not donate 3 hard earned candles for warp-obstruction!
I wish there was the option to leave a heart OR just a like for the spaces in other spots. I have a feeling some places are going to be overwhelmed

I'm fine with furniture items being priced as they are. Generally, in games, furniture items for house minigames are MORE expensive than clothes, so about the same price doesn't bother me.
This season seems like the perfect time to take a break and recover from Sky burn-out, IMO. On the plus side, PC Moths won't miss out on epic seasonal gear while they try to figure out how daily quests work. Sky has been gorged with fantastic events for months, but I'm happy to take a break because I don't care about furniture. Am loving the candle event and all the new PC Moths, though.
oh wow. the hair and the ears, which are the signature aspects of cinnamonroll, the idol of this collab event, are iap. wow. i knew they were greedy, unreasonable, and don't care enough to even hide it but my god. they really don't want their players to have ANYTHING unless we do a days of mischief 2022 again.
2 igc items out of WHOLE 8 NEW ITEMS for this event is actual insanity. wtf. and the two igc items in question don't even look interlinked to the event theme, choosing them to be igc is already stupid in itself. and i could go on and on about the pricing for these cosmetics, but id rather save myself the time and just conclude for the 6th time this month, theyre greedy. really greedy, and stupid. and sorry to say, so is some of their playerbase.. they just cant stop eating it up and defending them every time because there's always players like those somehow.

Its kinda funny seeing people get angry at high prices now but back when I was in this community people would tell me the customization and outfits aren't a major part of the experience as if anyone plays the same repeating maps almost everyday solely for the exploration and not to collect candles for items

I got the Journey pack when Sky dropped for PS. I also got the cube and I don’t even own a pc. 😂 I informed a friend and had him sign into a steam account I made years ago. After I linked it to Sky he bought the cube using my account.
He said he might buy me the hair/ears accessory or the head plushie, or both. We’ll see. I like the hair and ears more. I’m not a fan of the cape so I’m glad there. I like the chat table and it’ll be the first cute one I get. I have the Christmas and Halloween one but the bun one is the cutest.
As for the furniture, I’d be more interested in the items if we can use them like any other prop in the worlds. Otherwise I have no interest in any shared space stuff.

I got the cube on steam and have it on my Switch and mobile. I don’t even own a PC. I had a friend log into my steam account which I linked to my main Sky account and he bought it for me through Sky.
If you buy it for your Sky account you should have it on all platforms that your account is on. Unless you mean you can’t use your main account on a certain platform. I’m a bit confused tbh.
