Great Vlog! Disney should of had a Christmas Overlay at Galaxy’s Edge. Stormtroopers wearing Santa hats and carrying Candy canes would have been cool!
It was horrible, I was there. Crazy money for little offering, long lines, bad food, not much time. Disney needs to fix this, quickly or just cancel it.

The price seems way high for this, but as long as people pay it you get what you get.
So you pay $179 to watch 2 shows and the ability to buy speciality drinks and food in an extra extra crowded park with nothing at all included? Oh hell no… Appreciate your coverage of the event however!

45 seconds in, Kyle and already you've got your facts wrong. Jollywood Nights is NOT longer than MVMCP. Jollywood is 4 hours long (8:30pm-12:30am) and MVMCP is 5 hours long (7pm to midnight). Maybe you meant it runs LATER? I do appreciate you reporting on the details of how to get into the Tip Top Club, BD and the shows as well as scoping out the food and merch options though. Thank you for that. We'll be there next Saturday night.

So here’s the truth about night one….EVERY…vlogger, RUclipsr, Podcast and local travel agent was there trying to get content for their media outlet. Food, Shows, Drinks….impossibly long lines due to that. The rides we are all walking due to these guys standing in line for their content. Once the “regular” guests show up, the lines should be more equally spread out but man….you guys killed this event in all honesty.
Correct me if I’m wrong every person that went to that event had purchased a ticket, or Disney gave them a ticket. Disney knew the numbers of people that were coming to this event. How is it any different then person who paid out-of-pocket for the ticket and went there to drink and eat all the specialty items, Disney highlighted before the event. It makes no difference if the first party is made up of bloggers, RUclipsrs podcasts, travel agents for media event or not they are still people purchasing just like anybody else would any other time be purchasing getting in line to the meet and greet characters, getting something to eat, and getting something to drink getting into these events and shows, getting specialty pictures. The fact that Disney was not organized enough or did not have enough employees or whatever the cases maybe it’s management maybe it’s something else. Disney was not ready for this event. They didn’t seem to have the flow to get into events to get out of events fast enough before the actual shows started again. Because correct me if I’m wrong, a Gurdy cookie should not have a line halfway around Echo Lake. The cookies were premade. The line should’ve went very, very fast and yet it didn’t. That’s called management problems not people standing in line for a cookie problems! Point the finger where it belongs. The amount of money Disney is charging for these events. There’s a reason why Disney do these events. Disney’s been doing this for years and they know what works and they know what doesn’t.
I am not giving Disney a pass on this as they knew good and well what happens night one with their events new and old with influencers. The better question for me is why would anyone stand in line that long for a Gertie cookie…..the correct answer is most wouldn’t, just these folks wanting to post it as content.
Listen….Disney had to know this was going to happen and the party starts too late and ends too early. They definitely have to address some of this quickly but might one was definitely an anomaly due to all these folks there.
This event looks great, much more to our liking than the MK Xmas party, which I don’t understand. We’re not interested in holiday snacks, nor character meet and greets, and not so much parades, so the shows here are just what we are looking for. We will definitely try this next year.

@@epcot8149 I would get there early and do the Brown Derby Jazz show since I’m a huge Jazz fan (and a fan of the Brown Derby) and the Nightmare Before Christmas show, because that’s one of my favorite movies.

Honestly this party looks exactly like advertised. It’s more adult oriented, and the special edition Brown Derby and Tower of Terror experience looked awesome! I can see where people are making comparisons to other parties, however this is the adult party experience Disney needed. A small Brown Derby holiday re theme was what every adult wanted. I hope it returns next year, and of course little upgrades and changes will be made. Everyone seems to forget this is the first Jollywood Nights party ever…
Going in December so hopefully is more efficient. The lines look too long for any food/beverage items.

The Nightmare before Xmas show is awesome. Lines for food are crazy. Random street music doesn't seem like it fits a Xmas party.

I think he’s more of a glass half full guy. He talks about the crowds, lines, being stressed... A lot of ppl have already bought tickets, good on him for finding the good but still expressing problems.
Doesn’t seem worth it for all the crazy lines like all it really is 2 shows and eating. So idk if the food lines are so long and you only do 2 shows idkkkk
We watched your video along with a few other vlogs. We are off to Disney in December and happy we did not book this. It seemed disorganized, long lines and where exactly was the elegance except for the people who took the time and paid the expensive ticket price.

It’s really sad that these “celebrities” like this DJ whoever he is is paid, probably a lot of money to promote a sucky event, and literally lied to his followers and all the people who are there what a great wonderful event this is when it’s not and I’m sure it was probably great for him because he didn’t have to wait any lines, and he was able to get food and all the things he wanted probably fairly easily well it pretty much stuck for everybody else. I really can’t stand celebrities that just get paid to lie!

I feel sorry for the people sitting anywhere near Kyle during the Nightmare Before Christmas show. People don’t want to listen to your reactions and commentary while they’re trying to watch a show. The worst.

too expensive for two shows similar to the ones they give you on the day and one mediocre fireworks...much better in 2017... I'll definitely choose the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas🎉... 700$ for family of 4... Is there really anyone who can tell me it's worth it?

We passed by you several times during the park. We came with kids and said the same thing. This party is more geared towards adults. The shows were amazing, but we were left wandering around more than we wanted to.
Disney charging extra for less. When they had Osborne lights that was incredible. Hate nightmare before Xmas. Seaworld has best Christmas celebration in Florida and it’s included with your admission or annual pass unlike Disney who does nothing for Passholders anymore. Disney cash grab IMO
This was a great event. I actually just saw in one segment at the Tower Of Terror show that I was in the shot on the left. You’d recognize it from the selfie we took. Thank you and JoJo again for meeting me and for the selfie. You guys were the best. I’m definitely coming back for that weekend again. Probably won’t be at Jollywood Nights until I know for sure but overall, I definitely would go again. Happy Holidays to you two and everyone in FL. Also, the Nightmare Before Christmas show was awesome. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thank you for going on opening night. I booked it for the family in December & am excited about it!! I hope it’s not as crowded though, that part stinks!! I will probably have to try and get a Derby reservation, because my husband will never stand in those long lines to get food!!
We're going to be at Disney for our honeymoon, and we're SUPER excited for a more adult friendly after hours event!!! Especially the latin street fair and the lounges!
Jollywood Nights looks like a bit of a mess, but it's the first year, so I'll cut it some slack. However, the best part appears to be the Phineas and Ferb Meet & Greet. How have you never watched Phineas and Ferb?
Perhaps go back in a week or 2 so we can see if they did- indeed- work out the kinks and reduce the LONG lines etc…. Thanks for your video ❤

So tell me. How much is Disney paying you to do this? Money that Disney should be spending to upgrade its parks is being spent on China. Disney movies have mostly lost money over the last 2 years and it’s latest Marvel movie The Marvels is a complete flop. And they had to cancel their Snow White movie for 2024 release because of scathing criticisms from fans. Disney is a mess right now and without a dramatic change in its leadership will not be able to get by much longer just on its name. It’s gotten so bad even South Park is making Parodies of Disneys leadership

We are heading to Disney the first week of December. Thanks for the coverage of this event, I think we are going to pass. I'm not a huge fan of the shows or meet and greets, and major lines for food are a bummer. I do appreciate that Disney is creating new events however!

That looks like a 100% Cluster. Disneyland-DCA had more space for Oggie Boggie Bash. I would go again in like 2-3 weeks during a mid-week event. Wow that looked different than Magic Kingdom.

The Nightmare Before Christmas sing along was great. Disney at it's best. Unfortunately, Disney won't capitalize on it and make it a permanent show. Too bad because it appears to be a low cost show with minimal performers. The creatives that put together this show should be given more things to work on.

They need to add a Holiday themed motorcade to the event. Convertibles all decked out with the Disney Celebrities waving to their adoring fans on their way through the park.. It would add some life to the event.

Do you think it’s a fun night for $159? A family of 4 paid $600+. I’m guessing they didn’t think it was fun. Let’s say you weren’t a key holder and you had to pay for parking on top of the food. Yet people will still buy tix. Buyer beware. The priciest night is $179. 4 hours of waiting in line fun.

I think the party is great for what it is I feel people should understand that Disney caters to a lot of different fans and visitors that come to the parks that like specific things and sometimes it can be a little overwhelming but overall the magic is always there so whenever you come to an event or just visiting the parks in General try to focus more on the magic than the changes that Disney May or May not make because you’ll be able to find something that brings joy to you.. regardless of what you’re going to do during your visit. 💯💯💯
