Thank you for not jumping into drastic procedures.. you take your time and dive in to the patient and then go over different ways to do the best procedure. Maybe the least invasive procedure won’t help. Then you’re back making plans for a very invasive surgery. At least you did everything in your power to find a better way. To the patient I say you I hope the noninvasive procedure works well. You’re in the best hands. I will be watching to see the updates, Many people are with 💞💕
Baldwin31 A very genuine thank you for all of the above mentioned. Very well appreciated. Just educating the world one foot at a time. As always, thank you 🙏😁👣🦈
Love your athletic shoes. Pretty colors. I have a bone spur and it was sooooo painful. I wear inserts in my shoes. Helped and no pain now. Hope she is better. 🌻
I must say, that after watching so many of your videos, which I find quite fascinating, I have been learning how to take good care of my feet!! I am not terribly over weight but I could probably lose a few pounds, and I do not have diabetes, but I have been on my feet for over half a century, and I don't want them to have any problems the older I get. So I just want to say thanks! Thank You for taking the time to upload these videos, and to make them as well! If I ever have a problem I will know what it is before my own doctor does! And if she doesn't know I will be sure to fill her in and show her what video of yours that she can watch to get the information!! My doctor is a wonderful doctor and she is always up to learn something new! Thanks again!!!
Elizabeth Gaspodnetich on behalf of the entire organization, a very genuine thank you for all of the above mentioned. Very well appreciated. Just educating the world one toe at a time. As always, thank you 🙏😁👣🦈
Extremely helpful!! My doc had a different 3. 1) anti inflammatory 2) the boot 3) open surgery The first 2 have not worked. I’m thinking about the 3rd. Around the 10 minute mark you smile, and say “we won’t talk about the recovery.” What am I really in for here doc?
Great video I'm wondering if she made a full recovery from the non invasive procedures. Im pretty young and got a haglunds deformity with achilles tendonosis/itis from a lot of working out. Ive tried a lot of conservative care but still have it. Hopefully can get these procedures done soon.
@Amina Doctrove After the initial few weeks of the injury i didn't do any cardio or workouts, but after a month I started swimming and riding the bike. Soon after I started slowly doing the eccentric calf raises to stretch and strengthen the tendon.
I have this issue, my dr recommended just stretches, ice paks and Tylenol and recheck in may. If no better then he’s talkin surgery. Well … it’s been a month & it’s no better, actually a bit worse. So… I’ve never heard of this trifecta treatment you referred too. Where do I find the follow up videos to this one? I’m interested in this & how it went for this patient and the big Q… how do you immobilize and what is a cam walker ?? I’m 63, & work 70 hrs a week in security so I have to be able to walk. Thanks for all you do !!
I had the surgery ,in a hard cast for 1 month & then a boot for other month & then physical therapy for a month ,it was ruff especially on the hard cast I had a knee scooter to get around
Is there a difference between haglunds and calcific insertional achellies tendonitis? my podiatrist declined operating on it because i was told it would grow back...
I found the MIFAS website in France, and it seems most of the surgeons that have learnt the procedures are in Europe and the Middle East, Morocco, Mediterranean-ish. Not a lot in the US and non listed in Canada ☹️ sigh 😔
Is there a higher incidence of this condition in a flat foot? Or what other anatomical irregularity increases the likelihood of pump bump? She has it on one side and not the other, which is curious. As an aside, is it possible to have one flat foot and one normal?? By the way I enjoy your teaching the patient and by extension, all your viewers. That one act is an excellent way for a clinician to help the patient manage their concerns, which is all important. Again, thanks for all you do!
As you were talking about it I was feeling around back above my heel and that big rope thing is just a tendon or is it a bone also it feels so thick!!!
Lmao first thing i thought when the video started was this guy has serious charisma/good communication skills and obviously with all this facetime he probably wanted to be a famous celebrity.

Best UT post on line! I learn so much from this Dr! (And he’s not selling stuff either.). Talented, skilled, entertaining and cute as a bug!
I love his passion for his craft and his love for helping patients yet educating us. Awesome wish I could be seen by him

@Amina Doctrove no actually i got better. What worked for me were eccentric calf raises, rest, and proper nutrition.
@Amina Doctrove Since I got injured and completely better about six - seven months.

Meridien the cavus Foot! Yes. A very genuine thank you for the above mentioned. Very well appreciated. As always, thank you 😁🙏👣🦈💪
So bone spurs can be freestyle growing inside of tendons??
Probably calcification of the tissue due to chronic inflamation. Likely Also some genetics involved how fast that occurs.
Super interesting! I had no idea this could happen! My god bone inside tendon. 😳
