I’m very glad your trying these. I was wondering if you could try the evan-nyc brand that is often at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s. I don’t know what products are good but I see them all the time. Thx 🙏
Thank you for the suggestion. At one time I had considered trying Eva NYC (not necessarily as part of my Discount Store series). However, I realized they the brand doesn't have a solid holding styler. They have a curl cream, but no mousse or gel, and for my reviews I usually like to have a hold product. I will consider it, but I'm not sure I would be the best suited to give the brand a fair shot in the way that I typically do my reviews.
Loved this comparison… I like the Doux on you a little more because it had a lil less definition n more volume ( my kind of Wash n Go) 😊 didn’t see the frizz on that side I’m sure cuz of the camera. When you put it to one side n not down the middle I saw all the volume and loved your results even better. I have both foams but only used the doux with their 808 base gel. I like my results not my fav but not my worse. I havent tried the crazy foam yet I will try next to just see how it looks on me. Thanks for sharing 💥💥💥
Thanks for all your thoughts on my "experiment." I was slightly confused when you made reference to the Doux side, because they are both part of the Doux brand, but I'm pretty sure you were referring to the Doux Mousse Def.
I just got the Mousse Def and have paired it with Kinky Curly Curling Custard with great results! I debated between the two that you tried. I might have to check TJ Maxx for the honey one.
I have both of those in my stash. It is hard to say which side is better, maybe the Crazy Sexy Curl was a bit better than the Mousse Def. But both sides did held up pretty well for as a single styler.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I need to try pairing these with a gel of maybe a cream with some hold to it and see how they work that way. If you can't tell, I love playing around with products. 😄
They both look great and I believe you have more volume and a softer definition. Which is what I would expect. I love the soft look. How long did the curls last?
By halfway through day 3 I felt I needed to pull my hair up because the curls were falling and frizz was developing more than I liked. Then I washed my at the end of day 4 (which is normal for me). Hope this helps.
I've been looking at buying those from Target. I like the honey side best
Thank you for watching and weighing in what you like best. 😊

@ yessss I definitely met the Mousse Def 😆

That combo sounds like it would give amazing definition, but it might be a little heavy for my fine hair (not sure though). Thanks for sharing!
