I love that outline. Just the pure white color is best. I’m 6’1” about 160 lbs. most the waves I surf are comparable to Rincon. Thinking somewhere in the 7’0 range. Enough to paddle but can still perform
Britt recommends the CI Mid about a foot taller than yourself - so 7'0" should be fantastic for you.
I’ve been watching a lot of videos on mid length surfboards and urs was the most complete so thank you for this video. I’m really digging CI mid and toying between getting a 7.0 or 6.10. Wdyt? I’m 178cm (5ft10)and 75kg. I’ve been surfing for 2 years and wouldn’t consider myself too advance but I was surfing a 6”8 hybrid fish 45L before and can catch waves and go down the line. Lemme know what you think

I am same as u and just bought the 6'10 could go 6'8 either but just wanted bit more volume for more paddle power in the small surf and a bit more rail for the big surf..

Hi Miguel, yes, it works for me pretty good as a single fin but I'd go with the side bites if it's steep 4+ ft waves to get a good hold.

Would you recommend this board at all for below shoulder high or just stick with fishes/grovelers/logs etc. (west coast San Diego type waves)? Thanks!
Its not a great board for smaller weak waves. You really need some push.
@@jeffn1384 thanks! I ended up going with a Christenson Mid length (6'10" C-Bucket). does as well as anything does in 1-2 really, but really starts doing well when you get 3+ especially with a lined up wave
What’s the fins setup?
How does it compare to the seaside and beyond? especially in turning
Hey Sam, from my experience, the seaside and beyond turns much better/quicker/easier than CI Mid but you can get more drive and power out of CI Mid going from the bottom turn.

@@samleary5657 Thank you, mate. Indeed, it seems that a lot of companies got on Mid length game. Overall , their performance is really improving due to competition but I think most boards in general work alike in good surf. Cheers!

Idk but the christenson huntsman works great. Very nice board
