Nice selection of very common situations. In my practice session yesterday I ran across many of these same shots. Great job keep up the good work. You’re one of the best pool you tubers out there.
Great content again. I have been having good results when 9 is on the foot spot by getting short side on it offering up 4 pockets. Short distance to object ball and small cut angle if any.
Thank you for comment. Of course this option which we choose depends on what conditions we currently have on the table. Rails on my table are bit faster so I need to use more confident stroke and avoid slow roilling balls. But I always like to use more speed and more rails to increase possible. benefit.
Mr cueball i cant never appreciate you enough to put on effort to make this common problem ball we face lot of times. This video really give me more insight on how to deal with this situation. Really.. thank you so much. I have follow you and check out all of your videos. I have 2 hand and only use rest in out of reach situation. You have to use rest on all of your shot and you have much better stroke. Thank you so much for making this tipe of pool lesson. Greeting from indonesia
Thank you for the excellent teaching. A suggestion for you to consider: When you state your final option preference, it would be helpful to remind us exactly where you hit the cue ball for that option. Cheers! Andy Lady Lake, FL
Also note that if possible it is better to let the cue ball travel parallel to the next shot rather than at an angle. This gives you a larger area to drop the cue ball and therefore requires less attention to speed. Keep this in mind when choosing the shot.
Thanks for your comment. I like to show few option to choose from because rach player has different preferences and somtimes option which we like the most for other player will be more difficult to execute.
For shot #7 I'd consider running into the 9 ball to set up for the same pocket when theres to much angle to hold the cue ball, speed control is much less forgiving as long you have a good cue ball and contact the 9 on the left side. It's important to make sure the cue ball won't scratch in the side when doing that, and if the shot goes easier in the side I'd probably choose a different option
Excellent video. I disagree with a few of your best option choices but that's ok. We are all comfortable with different types of shots. But this video shows a number of realistic shots for each situation and we should practice them all.
Thank you very much for your comment. Of course you can have other vision because each pool table has different conditions and we can choose differently. On the other hand each player prefer to use different types of shots so I am sure that we can find many more options to make good position for the 9-ball.
I'm actually serious...have been watching a few pool channels and I've found only your channel uses the rest for all shots. Not sure if it is to allow the viewers to have a better view of the shot... I'm just a novice, learning the game bro

Actually we can find some interesting options in each case depending on player preferences.

Is it better to do lots of reps when learning a new shot?
Yes, of course!
Number 7 there is one more way max bottom with a hit 1 to 10 should be about a 6
Thanks for your comment. Actually I think that we can find more good options to make comfortable position for the 9-ball in this situation.
Just curious. Why do you use the rest and not a normal, hand bridge on your videos? 🤔
This is serious question or not?
I'm actually serious...have been watching a few pool channels and I've found only your channel uses the rest for all shots. Not sure if it is to allow the viewers to have a better view of the shot... I'm just a novice, learning the game bro
I don’t have left arm
