Life Surge I still don't get, especially since that's the closest thing to a "personal mit" that Dragoon gets. But IMO Mirage Dive is a pretty cool skill visually so I'm glad it's there for that reason at least
Drakesbane is confusing me. I’m leveling DRG right now. Is it like air anchor/gierskogul, with a separate cooldown, or is it after Wheeling Thrust/Fang/Claw? Edit: Looks like it replaces whatever positional you don’t use first…?
Effectively, you'll still do FC > WT or WT > FC depending on the rotation you're coming out of, but the 2nd hit in that back-to-back dancefest no longer has a positional as Drakesbane replaces the button. So you're not changing your rotation, just not having to move into place to hit the 2nd "old positional".
Dragoon's 2nd combo hits and 5th hits are upgraded. That much is obvious even to a non-DRG player. :| How can you tell? They've been the same since Heavensward. Unless you got trash memory, you'll notice how extra those attacks are than usual.
The Stardiver follow-up better be called Meteor Dive or something.
You came to the same conclusion I did, either meteor dive or Highwind.

It's a guess based on the fact it is an oGCD and it is in line with what they're doing with a bunch of other jobs
Why they decided to keep life surge and mirage dive I will never understand.
I don't even know what Mirage dive is supposed to do with the removal of eyes

It replaces 5th hit in combo
It was discussed in the LL. It's the 5th hit of both combis and has no positional
