Like a poster said, he feels, like Boris did in his parliamentary investigation, that he shouldn’t be there, shouldn’t be scrutinised. It’s an arrogance. Their only downfall is that they want to me “all things to all men” and the Bill Cash’s of this world (ERG, DUP, Farage and Reform) might split the Tory/Brexit vote .. unless Tice does a “Farage” and chickens out at the last minute.

He's being utterly disingenuous. We all know that Northern Ireland is a special case, and that in accordance with the Good Friday agreement there mustn't be a hard border between it and the Irish Republic. But Sunak specifically said that that gave Northern Ireland a competitive advantage over the other nations of the UK, by virtue of its remaining within the single market for goods. So the SNP are right to say, well, if it's an advantage go be in the single market, why can't we all be in it? Why did we come out of it? I remember many Brexiters back in 2016, most notably Raab, saying that if we left the EU there was no question of us leaving the single market. They're all just liars.
