Excellent tutorial. What I do to add harmony to melody notes which you mention as well is play melody notes in 3rds 6ths & 4ths keeping melody note on top and in 1st inversions because in that position melody note is on top.
As many as you'd like or are neccessary. The octaves will go higher and lower as your progressions change and the arrangement of the song progresses. Like the intro may start in a lower octave to create and build excitement into the verse which carries into the hook, then comes back down to a lower octave to smoothe things out again. There really is no rule of thumb of a 'range' of octaves a song should be or stay in. It's just a matter of how the piece of music is written and what emotions you're trying to convey with the progression of the music.

In the stage 3, when your right hand plays melody, what exactly left hand play (arreggio) to be in harmony with the melody? Could you please be more specific? Thank you
Step 1 - Know the Chords in multiple inversions ❌ I suck at this (working on it, especially with sharps/flats) Step 2 - Add a rhythm 👎 I'm the whitest dude ever with no rhythm (I need to work on stuff other than "on the beat" rhythms) Step 3 - Play the melody 😫 I can kind of do the first two, but my fingers go full potato when I try to play a melody along with a left hand pattern. Also learning melodies is a challenge for me. Step 4 - Harmonize the melody 🤣 I got my work cut out for me! But this sounds AMAZING! Step 5 - Adding fills and licks ☠ Reminder to self - learn some scale patterns on piano/keyboard Seriously awesome video and tutorial! Thank you for taking the time to do these and share your knowledge with us!

Could you make a video about passing chords and chords outside of the diatonic scale? I don't understand any of it. I can usually find the chords by myself but the music usually sounds dull without a bit of "coloration."
I don’t fully understand the 6ths thing. I understand basic theory but I didn’t understand the explanation. Something about playing 6ths when the melody note matches the root of the chord? Then are the notes of the 6th the other two notes of the chord?

How many octaves do you recommend to play chords and melody on most popular music? Thank you for your adve.

Is it possible to play, exactly notes in four parts?
