  • Here in western North Carolina in the town of Bryson City is the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. This video only features operations around the depot of 2 different trains as they make their inbound and outbound moves. Originally, these were some extra scenes taken on my trip last October (Link to that video: • Great Smoky Mountains ... ). Although not showing the scenery in this video, it was still cool to catch some good ole EMD’s in action as well as get steam locomotive 1702 in the shot.
The first 2 scenes feature the Charlie Brown Pumpkin Patch Express as they arrive/depart Bryson City.
The third scene features the Nantahala Gorge Excursion returning to town after their first trip of the morning with 1702 bringing up the rear.
To conclude, The Pumpkin Patch Express is seen pulling back into Bryson City as they get ready to move towards the west end of town to tie down for the day.
    As always, enjoy!
