I agree with your perspectives about jakarta, to me Jakarta is place when people want to get bigger opportunity in their career, but there are many better places in Indonesia to live the life, depends on what kind of life the people wanna live
I agree with you Ania, while Indonesia is an amazing and beautiful country, Jakarta is a place I would never want to live in 😁 But I totally admire people in Jakarta for their hard work and challenges they face on daily basis trying to provide for their families and just live their lives, you guys are so strong seriously 😁 Semangat orangnya Jakarta!! 🎉❤️ Selalu sehat dan bahagia!!

jakarta banyak preman berkedok ormas, Gua 10 tahun tinggal di bali gak pernah yg namanya dipalak preman maupun kehilangan barang, tapi gua baru 3 bulan kerja di jakarta udah ngerasain dipalak preman berkedok ormas dan itu ada di seluruh jakarta. Terutama ormas PP ama FBR itu paling meresahkan, kebetulan kerjaan gua pekerja lapangan, setiap ada projek di lapangan itu sudah pasti disamperin ormas dan dimintain duit dan itu bukan uang yg sedikit. Gua kerja di bagian advertising jadi gua sering ada kerjaan dilapangan seperti pemasangan videotron, reklame, baliho, billboard dll, itu pasti selalu di datangi ormas dan itu ada di seluruh jakarta
Beloved Jakarta is a great city. But for me personally it's a bit sad, as grandparents and many aunts including my mother has passed away so only my older sister and few younger aunties still are living in Jakarta. So I am going to rerurn to The Netherlands instead.

Teman saya pernah tinggal di Jerman dg istrinya yg orang sana. Sekarang dia sdh 5 th kembali tinggal di Indonesia. Dia bilang, klu punya cukup penghasilan utk menghidupi keluarga, lebih enak tinggal di Indonesia. Di Indonesia tdk banyak aturan. Hidup lebih mudah. Lebih berwarna. Makanan murah dan enak bisa ditemukan di mana saja dan kapan saja. Banyak tempat wisata. Pergaulan sosial lebih erat. Kekeluargaan lebih dekat 😊😊😊

7:17 setuju. tidak semua orang bisa tahan dengan kemacetan setiap hari. 7:47 soal harga, bisa dibilang relatif. karena untuk beberapa barang tertentu, di daerah justru lebih mahal, antara lain karena faktor ongkos kirim. tapi secara keseluruhan, biaya hidup di Jakarta jauh lebih tinggi. dengan penghasilan kisaran 5 jt per bulan, di daerah lain sudah bisa hidup lumayan nyaman dibandingkan dengan di Jakarta. 8:10 sepakat. salah satunya kebisingan. 8:47 tempat wisata di Jakarta berbeda dengan di daerah. di Jakarta tempat wisatanya "artifisial" alias buatan. kalau di daerah relatif lebih alamiah. 11:33 ya, tepat sekali. tidak semua orang suka tinggal di kota besar. 13:22 terima kasih atas rekomendasinya.

Try to come to BSD. It is close enough to Jakarta, and we got train and public transport to Central Jakarta. But it is very different than jakarta. Much more organized, and much cleaner. Also, in Indonesia, you should find Puskesmas first before hospital. It's like a clinic. Hospital are intended for heavy disease, while clinic are lighter one.
Try to come to BSD. It is close enough to Jakarta, and we got train and public transport to Central Jakarta. But it is very different than jakarta. Much more organized, and much cleaner. The best thing about Jakarta, is actually its food. Also, in Indonesia, you should find Puskesmas first before hospital. It's like a clinic. Hospital are intended for heavy disease, while clinic are lighter one.

You should work in Semarang or Malang. The climate & traffic jam are less severe, you can also visit the countryside part which have cooler climate, and also friendlier people & culture. Also these cities have many old architectures & place for tourism.
In my opinion, a good place for a vacation in Jakarta is the Old Town, SCBD, Sudirman street, PIK 2, Ancol, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, National Monument and don't forget try MRT/LRT Jakarta 👍.
Hampir semua orang Ingin tinggal di luar Jakarta, seperti Bogor, Bandung, Malang, atau daerah yang lebih nyaman. Namun untuk menghasilkan uang, Jakarta lebih mudah mendapatkannya dan sangat sulit untuk mode dari sana.
I love jakarta. Pity about the traffic there though, but, anything else, i love how the people are proud of their job. Their service sector especially in the mall, just wow me. Jakarta is a place to go for a short holiday why? Because, the food, the vibe, and the experience is great. Definitely come back for short laid back holiday. hehe.

And I really recommend to use public transport in Jakarta like transjakarta bus, it can be faster because it has dedicated line to go through the traffic.

I was born in Jakarta and live in there until finished high school and then move to Depok finished college and then start to work in Jakarta but still live in Depok... until dec 2022 I quit all of that and move to Sukabumi starting new life and business and yess I love living in "likes earth" 😁😁.

Official metro line currently just 1, but we have about 5 line for commuter train using the train of Japan/Tokyo Metro.
And I really recommend to use public transport in Jakarta like transjakarta bus, it can be faster because it has dedicated line to go through the traffic.
