Still a ton of room for improvement, and this might not be a popular opinion but I think that from about halfway through the second quarter until the end of the third quarter, Matt Canada actually had some good play calling. The offense didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but when Pickett gets help from the play calling and he gets some run support he’s shown that he can play really well.
Nah…He’s still putting Pickett in obvious passing situations. He is running the ball on 2nd and long and leaving the opponents defense to sit on the pass. It’s terrible that he doesn’t understand it.

Dude I was so ready for this video. Kenny Kitten Mittens delivered his best performance in the pros so far, the run game looked as good as it has all year (though that's not saying much) and this was easily the best all around game by the team so far this year. I just realized T.J. has more sacks in 3 games this year than he did in 9 last year

It's amazing what good blocking can do for a team. That's all this was. Collinsworth highlighted the double team run blocking scheme and how well it worked. Pass protection was MUCH better and Crosby got taken care of by Warren on that big TD play. KP had time to throw, or enough time to react and throw the ball away. He wasn't under constant duress. Whether that says more about the Raiders' front 7 than it does our OL is anyone's guess, but I think that we went up against some absolutely brutal front sevens to start the year, and it may have just forged a much stronger unit.
Also, love you 5 Star and I do say it with you at the end.

My only real concern after a game like this, is the continuity of Matt Canada. He hasn't done anything and yet he got a "better role" in the team (disclaimer: I mention the thing of better role or promotion since that was said in X in many post regarding his closer work with KP.), so with Offensive performances like this one ( which is far from the best in the league, but considering what we have got the last few years, this is gold) Mike T will refuse, even more, to consider giving KP a real OC.

If you allow me to suggest something, would be a cool interactive activity with the show's fans to try to guess the performer of the "5 Star Play of the Game", i know it's a long shot since there are 48 active players, but if the fan guesses correctly (or some do) a shout-out in video would be great.

I was so excited that 3rd quarter drive where we looked competent for once. Then we went back to looking like trash
Those guys get paid too. I'm looking at the positive. The offense was competent. Without the total BS Minkah penalty it never gets hairy.
Kenny played great, most of his incompletions were accurate and catchable, had a couple drops and some missed calls/miscommunication but offense looked really solid. The offensive line does need to step up though and keep Kenny clean, he gets hit every time he throws it seems like

Great win. But the Offense needs to keep it rolling. You can't take your foot off the gas. Especially when Miami put up 70 points in the same day. Not that Pittsburgh is capable of that right now, or maybe ever, but it says a lot about finishing off your opponent. Make it so they have 0 chance of winning.
If you get up 30-7 there, TJ, PP, Larry O & others are resting late in the 4th and guys like Nick Herbig are getting more reps against starters. Next step for the offense is to be more consistent and close out a game when you have a late lead.
Nonetheless, this was a small step forward. Encouraging win.

Doesn’t it seem like Harris always starts getting good runs after Jaylen gets it going? I think if you kept the same work load but just had Jaylen come out first it might make a difference honestly. Kind of a fast Willie and the bus situation, Harris is obviously a work horse but until the line gets opened up he struggles.
I hear you but I just think Warren is working better with how they're playing at the moment, but Naj still looks good to me. He's gonna close out a lot of games in November and December. He's a late season guy. Gotten better both of his first two years late.

It sounds fake that this was Kenny's first 2 td passing game. Also I have a bit of gripe that they called roughing on Minkah but not on Max Crosby on his sack when Crosby, albeit partially on Kenny, clubbed #8 on the head when he didn't have to go that high on him.
