I got the Jet 75 and the “turbo action brush” is honestly really weak and disappointing. It just completely stops on half of my carpets/rugs and they aren’t even a high pile. I’ve never had a cordless vacuum struggle like this before. Also where the main tube connects to the vacuum seems to be a weak spot as there’s a bit of wiggle to the connection

The Dyson v11 or v15 would be a good option

The one thing I would be worried about is the longer term durability of that powerhead, in particular, its tiny wheels - the rear wheel is very small and looks like it would not take long being scrubbed round rough hard floors before that wheel wore down, and the floorhead would then not roll over hard floors, it would scrape the plastic base plate along the floor. The Dyson version has large rear wheels in the ball configuration which are much more significant than a tiny rubber coated wheel. I would personally not buy that machine with that powerhead alone if you are mainly using it on hard floors. Not sure if they do a fluffy head for hard floors, but if they do, does that also have a tiny wheel on the back? Carpet use I think it would be fine, but I have seen the result of using other machines with those type of tiny wheels, and they wear down very quickly meaning the soleplate scrapes along the floor. Apart from the floorhead wheels, it looks like a reasonably good effort at replicating the style of the V10.

Its actually the opposite, the wheels are all rubber non marking. The Dyson v10s wheels are completely scratched up.

@@VacMaster1991 I think it also depends on what type of hard flooring you use it on - laminate and smooth floors would be easier on the wheels but rougher surfaces, bare floorboards with gaps between them, rougher types of linoleum, stone floors, would all wear down the rubber of the wheels, just as a car tyre wears down when driven down the roads. If the wheels were of larger diameter, rubber coated, they would last longer, but such tiny diameter, used on rough surfaces would ultimately not last that long - you see where I am getting at - it all depends on how often you vacuum, and what type of hard floors you will mainly be using it on.

@@stevejones1972 yes definitely. I prefer rubber over plastic any day though. I have been using my LG a9 nozzle on my tile floors for months. My tile has grout cracks. The samsung and lg have the same wheel design. The lg has no damage what so ever. The rubber is pretty hard.

@@VacMaster1991 I see - Well the LG is not so much of an issue for me, as we dont get them in the UK, but the Samsung is available here, and could be seen as a valid alternative to the V10, especially in terms of run time and filtration. The machine I was talking about in regard to the small rubber soleplate wheels is the UK version of the Riccar Supralite cordless , called the Truvox Valet battery upright - they are the same machine, and we used to use them at work, on non slip commercial grade lino. The soleplate wheels on that machine would wear down to nothing and then fall off the metal spindles within 4 months of new. We had 3 new soleplates fitted to it, but after the 4th one, the company gave up on them, and they got taken away and we never saw ours again after that - it was an utter fail for hard floor use, due to the rubber wheels on the front of the soleplate being about the same size as those on the Samsung - they just wouldnt tolerate being pushed around on that type of hard flooring, so having seen the issue first hand, I am pretty wary now about vacuums with those type of wheels, that are intended to be used on hard floors. I know the Dyson version has plastic wheels in the shape of a ball, and yes, on rougher hard floors these do get scratched, which is why I feel the Dyson fluffy head is better on hard floors, but in the absence of seeing if Samsung do a fluffy head for that machine, I am not sure what type of wheels that type of head would have on it - I suppose I could check Samsung's website, and maybe I will - as these are only available in the UK direct from Samsung.

Yea its $100 for a battery. I honestly wouldn't recommend this vacuum. My machine had lots of problems with its battery. The battery overheated, wouldn't charge and sometimes would come of the charger dead. Get a Dyson or the LG A9

So do you think the LG is still superior because it also includes the fluffy head, or is the overall performance of the LG just a bit better?
