- I have played poker in Pittsburgh before. This is it. Rivers in Pittsburgh. I'll be back in Las Vegas eventually. But today included western Pennsylvania poker and a short, interesting, historical baseball adventure.

Enjoyed the room overview (sounds solid) and also the Forbes field info. It's great when you give a steady shot of the historical and visitor signs so we can pause the video and read those. FUN!!!! 💯💯
Top 5 Favorite episode just based on Forbes Field visit!! Ultra Cool!
There’s talk of Planet Hollywood bringing back poker…upstairs in the old Diamond Lounge
We need Rice to publish the video he said he already made about this.
So cool to see your genuine awe at the Forbes Field wall and home plate! Made it all the better! Loved it more than the poker room tbh!
Awesome. Glad you enjoyed my enthusiasm. I saw a picture on Twitter months ago and I'm glad I remembered while I was in town.
@VegasPokerNomad I've always loved your real reactions.
baseball info was really cool....
Glad you enjoyed it.
Enjoyed that many tks
I assume the primary reason for the $100 bill rule is to reduce mistakes. One denomination of bill and fewer of them means less variance in the well.
Good observation. Sahara, for a stretch, was not doing any dealer rebuys. It was a small room so the floor can handle all rebuys without pausing the game. But the reason was because the floor was trusted to do things correctly and a lot of new dealers were making mistakes. (And in full disclosure, Sahara poker closed for good in November.)
Looks like a good place.
Very cool seeing the wall from Forbes.
1970... that was right around when Roberto Clemente played his last game there before dying in the plane crash.
I'm not sure what the bad beat standard was in Detroit, but at Harrah's Joliet (IL), it was quad 8s beat. It got up to somewhere around $800K before it hit. The activity in the room then drastically went down, which might have factored in the decision to close the poker room there.
@lightning3636 I believe MGM Grand Detroit was quads over quads fives or better.
Can only rebuy with $100 bills is ridiculous, some people would walk away if they didnt have the right bill… come on now. Also, thank you for showing us Forbes field that's really cool, something I would otherwise never see in my lifetime. I love that the original outfield wall and home plate is still there and integrated into the building.
MGM National Harbor tried doing the only $100s thing in summer 2018 but dealers and floor often took the $20s. It wasn't really enforced.
I’m the one that said hi to you at Rockford Hard rock cashier when you were cashing out
Awesome. I recognize the username. Should have said it was Zeke Bones.

Just think Clemente played on the other side of that wall. Sick!!!
I wasn't even thinking of all the Pirates great from that era. Kiner too.
@ almost Stargell 2 years too late. Debut was 62. That’s my favorite part of the stadiums is the history. Watched old Busch get taken down and my favorite is my son’s high school team played on a field in Oklahoma from a late 1800 to early 1900s teams. Several team pics are up in the entrance. Worth checking out if u play Tulsa again. It’s in Bartlesville just north of Tulsa like 10 mins from Hard Rock. Doenges Memorial Stadium is the name. Unless the power hitter behind him broke his record my son’s plaque should still be up. He hit 9 there in what was really 3 years of play. As a freshman he just pitched. That area produces a lot of pros.
You were a 10 min walk away from the Three Rivers Stadium home plate. Its in the middle of a parking lot. Ha! Pirates play at PNC Park now. ;) Safe travels and good luck. FYI Mets suck. GO BRAVES!
If I knew, I would've looked for it. Next time I guess. -- The Mets are a mess. The owner is a Mets fan with unlimited money and doesn't even want Mets on the team. 3 players on the roster have only been Mets and played at least 5 seasons. The roster is just short term and/or old mercenaries.
Baseball is even better than poker!!!
Won the $340 deepstack that day for $7,334! Total prize pool was a bit over $20k with about 70 entries total.
Awesome. I wanted to stay until registration was done to see the entries. But I needed to get to the Forbes Field wall before it got dark.

Hey,
Watched a lot of your videos and I was just thinking have you considered a " van life " lifestyle?
Seeing the amount of miles and travelling you do and you would save a ton of money on air bnbs and hotel/motel rooms.
Interested in your thoughts or reasons why you don't adopt this.
Cheers
Im thinking Rice has at some point mentioned this.
Looking at his vlogs it seems to me that any kind of middle ground weather wise is rare.. rice seems to spend his life in the snow or the extream heat! I cannot imagine either would be very much fun sleeping in your vehicle 🤔 would save money no doubt, but at what cost
Good question. It's mostly the overhead and that I wouldn't use it for sleep, without climate control, 6-7 months per year anyway. But I was exhaustive in this video from last year.

Just fyi, that's my mode. Never any check-in or check-out time and just some relatively minor parking garage fees now and then. No security problems with extra alarms and camera's that send alerts to my phone (plus various weapon options). Exterior stealth look is the key and total interior blackout so no one can see inside. Two excellent options with lots of interior room (sometimes for two), 7' or less height, 36 MPG, and 24/7/365 cheap temp control (heat and air conditioning) are either the Toyota Sienna Hybrid or Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. Can't be beat. I also have a mobile office inside and so write off 100% of the travel costs for tax purposes. Love the no-build simplicity, the minimalism, and the total freedom of movement. And while not necessary (I have toilet and bath capability) the lifestyle pairs well with a Planet Fitness "black" national membership. 🚙💨💨
MGM Grand Detroit has now dropped the bad beat promo.
Interesting.
Find a traveling poker buddy and hit the Canadian Poker rooms!!
Ehhh
They're on my list. So is PEI for the scenery and mussels.
Quebec Casino Lac Lemay (boarders Ottawa Canada) current bad beat jackpot $2,400,000
40% to the loser, 20% to the winner, 20% to the table and 20 to the room
That's the highest I've ever heard.
You coming through Cincinnati?
I can't ruin the surprise. But whether or not I hit it on this trip, it's been on my list.
Damn it, I would’ve actually came down and let you take my $ at the table😂.
Hardrock is a soft room. I’m not good, and have played maybe 7-8 tournaments liefetime and i have gotten a 1st, 2nd, and even 6th in a Chris Moneymaker tournament last year.
@ Ohio is a very underrated state for an extended trip. Toledo, Columbus, Cinci, and Cleveland all have rooms.

Did this so-called baseball expert say Three Rivers Stadium? Lol. Not in 20 years or so.
