I had a '68 Chevelle 396 4-speed for high school car in 1974, my parents bought it for me for $800 American, This Hurst Ram Rod was the best 4-speed shifter ever made!! They sell for like $2000 now on Ebay, my god! I paid under $200 when I purchased mine in 1980 or so from Midwest Auto Specialties which is now Summit Racing. Thanks for posting this video, takes me back to me having fun back in the day!!

V. Gates's are junk. Get a hurst Ram Rod. Unless u get a Long modified v gate.
I purchased A Mr gasket v-gate 2 and cut it down 2 inches.This thing is Freaken Awsome!…..Bye bye H pattern.
